    This is by far the best ceiling fan I have ever owned. Installation was a breeze. When done no balancing was needed, ran perfectly smooth. Super quiet. Love the smart app functions. Fan is built very well. Bought another one for my bedroom.

    I had a 52 inch Minka Aire Dyno (AC mote) in my study. It had motor humming noise at low speed. I just replaced it with this 60 inch Dyno having a DC motor. It is very quiet, no motor noise at all. One thing important is that the fun motor would not run if blades are not installed. It would run normally with whole weight on the motor. Per Minka Aire tech support, this is how DC motor works.

    After a few months of use:• fan makes bad/clunky noise over speed 5, even after having it professionally installed.• App and wifi controls stopped working which was the main purpose of buying the fan, remote works alright as expected.

    This is the fourth Minka-aire that I’ve installed over the years (different homes/locations). They’ve always been really easy to install. This fan was installed on a 14ft. ceiling with a 48″ downrod. It’s quiet running and moves a lot of air! The downloaded app was a bit tricky to get the firmware update, but it sorted itself out. The Alexa commands work really well, too.
