     We really like the appearance and style of this fan and selected it from Amazon. No problems with shipping and quickly arrived. Assembly and installation was incredibly easy compared to the other ceiling fans that we’ve had in the past. Item of note because our old house needed new electrical wiring we had wired two switch runs to control both the light and the fan separately however, the remote control interface will not split the electrical feeds between the light and the fan to bypass the remote. This is completely a planning issue and nothing to do with the quality of the fan but keep this in mind when you’re planning your installation and selection. Besides it’s awesome appearance it’s incredibly quiet and is a perfect addition to the room.

    I had this fan installed in a bedroom worth 9 foot ceilings. It is a beautiful addition to the room, from the light fixture itself to the blades, and to the shape of the fan. It runs very quietly and the air flow is great!Highly recommend!

    I love the look of this—industrial yet elegant, big enough to make a statement in a room with a high ceiling. Goes nicely with my cherry cabinets. Remote works well (you need to keep the light button pressed down a while for the lights to dim). A little wobble at low speed, but that may be the fault of the installer. It’s replacing one of those fixtures that looks like a fan mated with a chandelier… sooooo much better!!

    This is a beautiful fan! we have had it up a couple of months. No fan is super easy to install but this one was pretty reasonable. I will say it was a bit more difficult to install because of how big the light part is. However, it went up pretty quick. It is quiet (even on high) and puts out a lot of air. The remote is nice and easy to use. I think this has been my favorite fan I have ever had!

    Bought in early February. Just had it installed today. The light dimming function does not work. The electrician had to leave the antennae sticking outside the back of the box to get the remote to work at all, sometimes I have to stand right under the fixture to get it to work I don’t know what their star rating for “thickness” is in reference to. The fixture itself is very pretty. It comes with LED light bulbs but I would prefer if they were round bulbs instead of candelabra style (I think round would be more appropriate for the style of the fixture too).

    I bought this fan for our family room. I wanted something unique yet handsome and had been searching for months. This fan did not disappoint!! It is absolutely beautiful and gets compliments upon first sight from all. I would highly recommend. As for installation I can only state that we had our carpenter put it up for us and he had no problem whatsoever.

    I was nervous about buying a Westinghouse brand fan as I don’t know the company as a fan manufacturer. The fan is awesome. No wobble, it looks great, very sturdy, doesn’t make a motor noise at all, and is easy to install. We installed it on a 12ft ceiling with a slope. Yes it can be installed on a sloped ceiling which I was concerned about. The fan can only be controlled by a wall on/off light switch which is what we did. You cannot control fan settings from the wall as the receiver only has power on or off so individual light & fan settings are all controlled by the remote. We keep the fan on the setting we want and and turn it on or off using the wall. So inexpensive and great that we purchased a different model from Westinghouse we put in another room and it’s just as great.

    I like the fan. It went up easy so swearing was involved because of some design issue.The fan looks good and balanced out nicely with one weight about 1/2 down a blade.The only down side is there is a very noticeable hum to the fan motor when on the higher speed (-1 star). Loud enough to hear in a the next room. It is mounted in an upstairs loft so not in a bedroom so its not a big deal but I wouldn’t be happy about it if it was in my bedroom.
