    The media could not be loaded.

     This fan installed fairly easily, although the instructions were not always perfectly clear. Total time spent was close to an hour, mainly due to the awkwardness of installing around a queen sized bed in a room with 9′ ceilings. Because of the high ceilings, we opted for the longer drop; it’s great that you have an option to mount this closer to the ceiling if that works better for your situation. The color is a lovely champagne gold and the design and size are perfect in the room (appx. 12′ x 14′). The fan is very quiet- the video seems to amplify the sound because when in the room while it was on the fan was almost silent.One thing to call attention to, and it is a small detail but is one that buyers should be aware of… the two silver screws that are visible in the top housing cover. In the product photos one screw is visible if you zoom in, but it is hard to tell that it shows through silver. There are lots of gold screws in the body of the fan, so why these two are not also gold doesn’t make sense. It isn’t terribly noticeable, but I will probably use a gold paint pen on the screw heads so they blend in.This fan takes E26 bulbs. Mine have not arrived yet, but I wanted to get the fan installed just to make sure it worked fine before we take it back down to paint the ceiling. I will update this review once the bulbs are in to share how bright it is, but based on the amount of light from one LED bulb I have no doubt that this will be plenty bright for the room.Remote is necessary to operate the fan, but it works great. I like that it has timed buttons so that the fan can be turned on for 1, 2, or 4 hours. It is easy to reverse the direction so that in winter the heat can be circulated more efficiently. There is a slight delay when using the remote, but the remote works from anywhere in the room. It even worked from the hallway outside the room. When turning the light or fan on with the remote there is a soft click sound as the power engages.

    The packaging of the product is in good condition. We hired a professional to install it. The wires of the product are not as thick as before. I like the appearance. I have been using it for a while. There are often problems with the remote control, and did not execute as directed.

    This fan is beautiful and the gold color makes it look classy. Installation was as easy as any ceiling fan. You get all the mounting hardware and it has two stems/downrods so you can choose between 4″ and 8″. There are seven blades which are clear plastic so they are almost invisible and are super quiet. The blades are tucked inside the cage which makes this safer than most fans. It takes 4 bulbs (not included) so you can choose your brightness. The bulbs are located outside the fan blades (but inside the cage) which reduces the overall height of the fixture. Perfect for low clearance ceilings. The remote is gold so you don’t confuse it with all your other remotes. There are six settings and you can also set a timer so it turns off in 1, 2 or 4 hours. This fan really adds style to the bedroom.

    This is a really cool caged fan/light! I love the look and feel of this piece. It was easy to put up and gives off a good amount of air movement over my table. Very happy and would totally recommend!

    I installed it in the room hoping to have some better air circulation and lighting. However, the fans only blow directly downward, should be noted before purchasing.Hate the remote too,a lot problems
