    These fans are wonderful for the bedroom. First, my grandchildren never wanted our previous blade fans on above their beds. Pulling a chain to turn the lights and fan level on and off was something that they did not enjoy doing when they visit. Now since we placed their remote close to them, they can control air flow, brightness of the lights and on/off button from their bed.My husband put both fans up within 30 minutes. He is very handy so please consider this when putting up your fan. He find getting the cover off a little difficult. However, he worked around it.I like that you can control the level of light by the light switch. You can turn the fan on/off, and the brightness of the light by flipping the switch up and down.

    This was by far the easiest fan to install. I have nothing but praises about this fan. The only negative feature is the amount of air you get from the fan. It just doesn’t push out a nice breeze. I would recommend this item provided you don’t need tons of air blowing on you.

    Like that the fan is hidden.Light has several different versions and levels; just not bright enough for me for kitchen – I like it super bright.

    We were looking for a bladeless or concealed fan / light combination fixture to replace three 20 year old fixtures. We tried 1 fixture to ensure we liked it and then purchased 2 more. The lights are bright and can be adjusted for color / temperature (yellow, white, blue) and can be dimmed. The fan has 3 speeds an a 1 and 2 hour timer setting. The fixture connects to a single light switch. You can control some functions by repeatedly flipping the light switch on and off (white light, yellow light, fan, fan and light…) but you really need to use the remote to access all of the settings. The light is not very heavy and is easy to install if you have basic electric knowledge. The only downside is the fan is not reversible. It will blow air downward. I don’t know if you could reverse polarity so it blows upward but its only going to blow in one direction.

     Very easy installation…black & white wires and bare ground, mounting bracket fits standard junction boxes.The three light “colors” show up better live than in my pics, but you’ll get the idea. Each color is also dimmable; all pics & vid are at the brightest level. The fan has three speeds and is pretty quiet. I started the video about 5 ft away with the fan at fastest speed and finished right next to it so you can hear the fan. Mind you, it doesn’t create the amount of air movement as the old headknocker light/fan I had, but it gets it circulating well enough.The best feature for me is the flush mount & low profile (7 in). My addition has a low ceiling, but even at 6’2″ I have plenty of clearance. Also, no fan blades waiting to scalp the unprepared!Everything is controlled solely by the remote, which brings me to the negatives. The minimalist instructions were not very clear, and the buttons aren’t as intuitive as they look. For example:ON/OFF with the light bulb image only turns the light on, not off. The ON/OFF with the arrow-looking thing turns it off but not on.The round thing in the middle has the dimmer (+ and -, top and bottom) and color (K+ and K-, left and right). I still haven’t quite figured out the middle button.Everything below that controls the fan, and is pretty straightforward. The only thing to note is that the 1H and 2H timers will only turn off the fan, not the light.As for the red button top left…who knows. It looks like it changes the direction of the fan blade rotation; it doesn’t. It beeps when I push it if the fan is on, but that’s it.There’s a bracket for the remote, so there’s a chance I might not misplace it (hahahahahahaha, right!), which would be unfortunate since, as I said, its the only way to control fan & light.Overall, I’m happy enough. I’d have given a 3.5* if possible, but not bashing my head anymore (though I still flinch out of habit when I walk under it) bumped it up a bit.

    I wanted a light and a fan for a small enclosed kitchen with fairly low ceilings. This works beautifully and I like having a remote that can change the speed of the fan and the hue of the light. And It’s quiet!

    I have this light in my office and it works perfectly. I had a handyman install it and connect to a wall switch. I can use the remote to change brightness and control the fan when needed. It is good looking and perfect for the space (about 10′ x 12′).
