   Nice looking ceiling fan. I love the brushed nickel finish, and the shape and color of the wood-finished blades. Note the blades are ABS plastic which makes them super light and therefore the motor doesn’t have to work as hard (meaning more energy efficient).The motor is super quiet even at the highest speed. Having a quiet motor was one of the key requirements and this fan does not disappoint. I hear wind noise at level 3 and higher but no motor noise what so ever. The fan moves plenty of air. It is balanced and there is no visible wobble.The written instructions were horrible and useless. The video was much more helpful. I still gave it 4-stars for installation because it was pretty straightforward. This was my first ceiling fan installation but I have some DIY and electrical experience. My room had a ceiling fan mounting box pre-wired to a wall switch with a fan/light dimmer. I hung the mounting bracket to the box using bolts that were already on the box. I wired the power to the fan wall switch so that the remote can operate both the fan and light. If you are inexperienced at DIY and electrical, you probably want to have an electrician wire it to make sure you don’t have issues.The receiver module makes an annoying loud beep every time the fan/light button on the remote is pressed. Turn on the light – “beep.” Turn off the light – “beep.” Turn on the fan – “beep.” Change fan speed – “beep.” Turn off the fan – “beep.” You get the picture. None of the previous reviews mention the beep. Product description doesn’t mention any “beep.” I wonder if this is a recently added feature or possibly a feature that can be turned off. Its so loud and annoying I’m considering returning the fan.There’s a single “light” button to turn on/off the light and change the light temperature. Press once to turn on the light a temperature 1. Press again to turn off the light. Press again to turn on at temperature 2. Press again to turn off the light. Press again to turn on at temperature 3. Press again to turn off the light. Combined with the “beep,” this is really annoying to use as the main light in the room. This is primarily why I gave it a 3-star rating for the remote. Since the room was pre-wired with a wall dimmer switch for the fan’s light, it would be ideal if I could wire the light directly to the wall dimmer switch and bypass the “beeps.”

   I love this fan for the easy install, quiet operation and makes alot of breeze to cool down the room. Only Con is every time you change the fan speed, turn the light on or press any button on the remote there is a LOUD beep. Manufacturer should seriously consider removing the beep feature. The beep would definitely wake me up at night if my husband were to higher/lower the fan speed. The beep is the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars.

   This ceiling fan and light is an excellent design. We ordered and installed three of them, and on one of them the LED light ring stopped working and another started to flicker. Amazon got me in touch with the seller and I forwarded my complaint to them. Immediately Surtime customer support replied and sent me two replacement rings, except they were better.

   The fan is cute and modern looking. Pictures don’t do it justice at all. It is surprisingly cooling for a 3 blades. In my opinion it’s even more cooling than a 5 blades fan. It has 6 different speed settings, way more than I needed for my bedroom but definitely good to have options. The 3 different lights setting is nice to have for different preferences. I prefer the warmer light than cool so I always set it to the warmest setting and that’s just perfect. The cool white is too bright for my liking. The remote control has a lot of settings in it which is nice to have like the decrease/increase in wind speed so I don’t need to remember which number setting I set the fan at since there 6 of them. It is very quiet even at the highest speed. It just sounded like wind blowing rather than mechanical sound like some fans we had in the past. The fan seems to be made of good quality. Install was easy for my husband and I since we are familiar with installing fans because we do it for all the rooms in our house. For someone that is unfamiliar I would say it’s a little tough since the instruction was very minimal. Some reviews said there’s one online but didn’t see a link for it nor did I try to find it since we know what we were doing. Besides the instructions not easy to follow, overall I really like the fan.

   Bought this fan for our screen porch. Putting it together was challenging to say the least. Especially when I was told to “decompose” a part I wasn’t going to use?? After I got it all together the mounting was simple but it made a rubbing noise that I could not find the cause of. I finally took it all apart and put it back together again and it is now whisper quiet and works fine.UPDATE 8-19-22….worked ok after above issue for a month and then the remote quit working. Replaced the batteries but no help. Got out the paperwork and it told me to press the low and med controls at the same time. The remote has NO low or med buttons or anything close, Also, no manufacturer name or contact nor any info as to warranty. I was a little worried when I first bought it that the only way to control the fan is with the remote. If the remote doesn’t work, the fan doesn’t work. This one is going back!

   This is a nice looking fan light combo however the light is not typical and not something you can order or replace. if light fails you need to replace whole thing. Per Amazon customer service. Wish I knew before installing. CAUTION

   Biggest problem, no wiring diagram or instructions. Contractor almost left when I remembered there were reviews online and one explained with pics wiring. Saved the day. Can’t say much for the seller. I had emailed request for manual earlier and still hasn’t come. Enjoying the remote alot.
