    Manufacture misleads about the exterior finish: The “matte nickel” finish is actually grey-silver paint. Look elsewhere if you want an actual metal exterior. Secondly, the knob of the three speed controller is a complete mismatch with the relatively modern design of the fan. A sleek slider would be good. Even a better looking knob would be an improvement. Can’t say anything else about the fan as I sent it back after seeing the cheap finish….

    Low profile fan that looks and works great!!I had an electrician install because I have no idea what I’m doing on anything electric.It does have a little “swoosh” sound but I personally like it, its almost like a noise cancelling machine.We liked it so much we bought the same fan for another room a week later.

    The fan design is minimalist and is one of the lowest profile models I could find but it’s going back. Two reasons. First, it’s not matte nickel. Not even close. It’s grey and looks spraypainted. I could get past that exchanging for white maybe if it weren’t for the second reason…the wall remote. As there is no pull chain, you have to use the included wall controller. It’s an old knob style that belongs in 1972. Baffling why this is what accompanies a very modern and sleek fan.
