The installation was a little harder than normal fans, luckily someone else left a review with hints. As far as setting up the smart connection with my Alexa, you have to remember it can only be set up with a 2.4 GHz wifi connection. So if you have both 2.4 and 5 Ghz, it’s easier just going into your admin portal for your modem and turn off the 5 GHz all together while programming it. After the fans programmed then you can turn back on the 5 GHz. Also remember you have to have the smart life app on your phone to accomplish this. Your Alexa app will in turn have a seperate Smart Life app and that is how you’ll be able to control your fan with Alexa.

We have been three of these fans. Two of them were put in rooms with can lighting. So light is plenty! We put one in our son’s room, and the light is horrible. Not enough light without cans or if you are going to have lamps. We installed can lighting in his room so he could see to study.

Very nice looking fixture from a distance. A closer view shows the plastic looks a bit cheap and the seams are not well-matched (but who else would notice?).

Looks nice, easy to control with remote and this fan is so quiet. I’m a light sleeper and can’t hear anything, I had to double check to make sure it was actually on. It’s been about a week and for now, I recommend

It’s a modern and beautiful fan that has great features. It is however tricky to install. Directions aren’t very clear. If you’re okay with that then it’s worth it.

It’s looks greatWorks fine – no noise. The light is nice and bright.. but not too bright (which is what we needed)Delivered on time – packaged well. The remote is very helpful to operate this.

It’s perfect and looks just like the photo. If you aren’t handy and confident in you electrical or wiring skills, make sure your get a handyman to install. But it’s a great price for a quality fan that also looks beautiful!

  8. Amazon Customer

Looks good but as others have said this is difficult to install. The instructions are translated from another language and don’t come though completely clear (example “earthed” vs “grounded”. One thing that is clear is that the instructions tell you to attach the cover to the motor before you wire everything. That’s obviously out of order. Also, there’s a rubber pad that goes between the ceiling and the mount. You have to make sure it’s completely flat against the ceiling and centered on the hole or else you’ll never get it to look right when assembled because it sticks out from the mount cover. You’ll probably have to cut a hole in it to feed your wires through because the one they provide is out of place. You do have to take the pin out of the down-shaft to get the wires through it so I’m not sure why that part comes assembled. If you’re using a standard size cutout in the US one of the screws to hold the mount to the ceiling will be blocked by the electrical hookups. It takes a tiny screwdriver to get it mounted. I’m happy with the result but it took forever.
