    I used all three blade balancing weights, and the fan still wobbles a little at high speed. Over-all though, the fan is very nice and does move a lot of air!

    The 2 stars has more to do with warranty service than the fan. While the Hunter Midtown ceiling fan is attractive and operates quietly, within 4 months of purchase, at random and without operator control, the LED lamps activated and began to strobe; the remote control had no effect in turning the lamps off or on, and I believe it is the only means of control for this product. After trouble shooting with electrician, without resolution at the installed fan, the only way to “fix” was by resetting at the electrical panel. The same random strobing occurred again a week later. I contacted the seller, Del Mar Fans and Lighting, who referred me directly to Hunter Fan Company. I contacted Hunter Fan Company, they mailed a new receiver, which I must install myself or pay an electrician to do. Because the fault or failure occurred within 4 months of purchase, after receiving the new receiver, I did follow up via email with Hunter Fan Company, expressing my dissatisfaction as I felt there could have been “customer service” consideration for covering the install or even some portion. They responded promptly but said they could not. Should there be a next time, then perhaps the whole fan unit should be replaced.

    I have a mid century thing going on in my dining room and searched for weeks to replace the ugly antiquated fan that was in there. Finally settled on this one and it is gorgeous. It is quiet and very efficient. I did have some problems with installation but that was because of an existing dimmer switch on the connection. So I turn the fan on with the remote and the light on with the wall switch. Extremely pleased with this purchase.

    Fan that is operated quietly, and looks stylish with 3 blades breaks misbelief that the more blades your fan has, the cooler it is. I appreciate the electrician helped me select the fan.

    Bought two of these for the bedrooms. I am pretty disappointed with the amount of light they offer. I need to either add another lamp to the room or I am considering putting in different ceiling fans entirely. Overall I am disappointed.

    Great fan. *TIP: Hang the bracket on the ceiling like normal. Then put the desired extension rod on. Flip it over on the styrofoam.*Install the blades and the light kit while sitting on the ground.Then carefully pick it up with 2 hands and carry it up the ladder and slide the top housing over the hanging ball and slip the Fan into the bracket…. Hard work is Done.Wire it and put the cover up. Next put the bulbs and Glass on then the pull chains…Saves so much time and struggling. ??. You’re welcome
