    this is a great fan, my husband installed it with no problem. the lighting is great 3 different tones and the remote controls everything. and there is no noise like my previous ceiling fan. the reason why i only gave it 4 stars is because the air doesn’t rotate like a fan with blades.

    This fan circulates the air okay in a small bunk room. My only issue is that it is way too bright. You can adjust the brightness by the remote but if it is in a kids room and you don’t want to leave the remote accessible, it is a pain. Sunglasses are needed for sure.

    This is good light and fan combination but does not work with the dimmer, you have to use remote to reduce or increase the light and fan. The remotes won’t fit in the holder properly and of low quality. It would have been nice if the motor would have been more flat and the whole unit can be pushed more inside ceiling would have given great look

    It was easy to install, but it does have a plasticly look. When the light turns on, it does give it a futuristic look, think Tron. This would work best in a small room, in a big room you probably wouldn’t feel much of the air circulating.

    First of all, the company is not doing itself ANY favors with the photos of the product. I have noticed a growing trend of sellers here at Amazon just Photoshopping their product into a real-world scenario. I wonder what is so hard about letting the custom see the actual product in an actual room? The photos make this fan look GIGANTIC. Especially that “Reversible feature applied to different situations” photo.The only image that gives you an accurate idea of the size of this small fan is the “How to clean the blades” images. It also gives you a nice up-close idea of what the actual blades look like. They are clear, plastic, and tiny.We have a room that has a low ceiling, and the ceiling fan could give a concussion to any tall person! So I’ve been looking for a smaller, enclosed fan that doesn’t drop down far from the ceiling, and also has a light, and this one is perfect for that.I’ve never installed a ceiling fan before. I got a touchless voltage detector to make sure I didn’t have any live wires up in the ceiling after switching off the breaker, and went to work. As it turns out, I succeeded in installing this fan on my first try, and this was mostly because of two things: 1) youtube videos, and 2) intuition. It was NOT because of the product’s manual. The images in the manual were too small and not detailed enough. I had a black and a white wire, a second white wire, a silver wire, and on a separate piece, a copper wire. As it turned out, the black and white connected to the ceiling wires, the second white wire I figured must have been the sensor for the remote, the copper wire I knew was the ground but there was no instruction on how to connect it properly (I guessed), and the silver wire it turned out was just for hooking onto the plate that was screwed to the ceiling.The instructions and diagram for the remote didn’t fully match the buttons on the remote, either. There was nothing obvious about what button you were supposed to press for ‘upward’ vs ‘downward’ wind. The remote is functional, though.The light ranges from a white to a yellowish hue, and from quite bright to semi-dim. I like that you can nuance both of these parameters to your desired setting.The fan pumps out a pretty powerful air stream considering the size of the blades. It’s quite nice when you’re below the fan, but much harder to feel if you’re off to the side of the fan a few feet away.We tried installing the app on a phone, and have had difficulty getting it to function properly. I don’t want to count that against them… but if we lose the remote, the app should make your phone function as the remote, so it could come into play down the road somewhere.Size and safety-wise, this is the perfect fan for what we needed. I would have liked a far better manual, better photos depicting the accurate size of the item, and a easier-to-use-and-connect app. Somewhat minor concerns. 4.25 stars.
