    Bought this fan because it was the only one that looked like it that was priced less than $250. It was only about $185 when I bought it. The install was easy enough, although the instructions leave something to be desired. I made a few mistakes and had to take things apart and try again a few times, but I got it.NOTE: The light is a little blue once you turn it on, but I have found an interesting feature – if you turn off the light, then turn it back on, it cycles between a bluer hue, to a warm, and then somewhere in between. Overall the fan delivers some great airflow and it’s quiet. We like the style. The blades are a little redder than the dark brown that is pictured here in description, but it still looks good so we’re fine with it. Also, they seem to be real wood so theoretically you could stain them again.

    The fan is beautiful. It looks great in our living room and the lighting is fine.The cons:- Anytime there’s a power surge or outage and the power turns back on, the light will come on (even if it wasn’t on when the power went off). This has happened to us the last few thunderstorms. So, don’t install it in your bedroom.- The output when the fan is at high is good, but there’s virtually no difference between the low and medium settings.- Installation was way more of a headache than previous fans I’ve installed.

    I love this light/fan. It was fairly simple to install. The blades are incredibly light weight, thankfully. The light is bright which is nice for our ceiling height (I still haven’t figured out the dimming). The remote is the only place that could be improved on. It beeps each time you turn it on which isn’t a big deal, but a little annoying. I also don’t like that I have to click through the light settings each time to get the one I like (warm). I wish there was a way to set it to stay on one light setting. For how often I use it, it’s not a real issue. Ultimately the control issues are minor and overall this was a great purchase and I would buy again.

    I wanted the opportunity to receive the $3 gift card so I am submitting a review and all I can currently say is that we have not yet installed the fan – it looks lovely but we are awaiting the electrician to install it. We had trouble finding a fan we liked and this looked great so hopefully the remote works well and the noise level is good as well. I will update this review next week 🙂

    Beautiful fan! Unique look and easy to install. The light could be a touch bigger/brighter but it does the job. The remote works well too.

    I have no issue with the seller or transaction. However installation of this fan was NOT easy. The plate that attaches to the fan for the light fixture has so many holes in it and it was extremely difficult to attach it to the fan as you couldn’t see where the screws lined up. But the fan does look nice and runs quiet….

    So far so good. It initially looked like it wouldn’t push enough wind even at medium but it was only because it looks slow with only 3 blades and it does its job well for our 8′ ceiling and 200 sq ft room. We have it on low all day just to keep the air circulating.The remote control is different from the manual but otherwise works great. We love that we don’t have to point the remote at the fan to control it so it can be mounted anywhere in the room.
