I bought a damaged package option but I felt I got bang for my buck. The fan was not as easy as I thought it would be to fix. It took us like two hours, and then we still need to fix that the light turns on with the switch. It doesn’t come with a remote, and it has the pull chains. The fan is quiet and is really good with circulation. Our room is 12 ft x 12 ft, and it moves the air around quite well and cools down the room. Haven’t used it in the winter to try the reverse the motion and just choose the air circulation option yet. Overall, it’s really good for the price – just a bit of a labor intensive project.

Seems like a solid fan. Looks good.

I really like the way this fan looks. It is contemporary and is nice construction. When the fan is operating, it is quiet and provides nice circulation. However, the light is HORRIBLE! It does not illuminate the room sufficiently, but rather it is like a spotlight only lighting up directly beneath it. I wish there is some way to fix this. Anyone know if a fix?

Not as easy to install as other Westinghouse fans, and make sure you have an extra pair of hands. Do yourself a favor and put on the blades first before you hoist the fan into the bracket. It is very difficult to install the blades after installed into the ceiling bracket.

Soooooo, here are the good things about this fan. It is light weight, easy to install and looks really nice and boy, it can blow some wind. It cools the area down really well. Now, the con is the light. It’s not bright enough. It looks really dull and doesn’t spread out across the area, it’s almost like a spot light, so weird. It’s a really wack light, I hate it actually.

The light color side of the blade is completely different and a lot darker in-person. The picture with the paper inside the plastic is supposedly the lighter side, which in the pictures online looks exactly like the Westinghouse Cayuga model…I had bought these to match the Cayuga model and they do not match at all. I did not test functionality or speed, the color mismatch was a complete deal breaker.

I was disappointed in appearance of the package the item arrived within. It appeared to have been repackaged with additional tape added to wrap the equipment. I noticed scratched on the ball and fan housing which hold’s the fan giving the appearance the item was hung and used by someone else returned. I was under the impression I was purchasing a new item and I am disappointed that Amazon would allow this to take place. The item does work and I am only keeping it because I purchased two others and needed a third to finish my outdoor patio.

Looks very very cheap and the fan base came deformed.
