Product: Amazon Basics 42-Inch Hugger Ceiling Fan – Includes Dimmable LED Light Kit with Three Candelabra Base LED Light Bulbs – Five Reversible Blades, Oil Rubbed Bronze FinishThis is a good basic ceiling fan. The smaller fans can be harder to find, at least when I’m looking for one. I needed a smaller blade and one that didn’t hang down to fit the room. This fan fits exactly as I expected. It runs pretty quietly and circulates the air well. This fan doesn’t come with a remote, so you will need to use the pull chains to operate it. I didn’t want a remote; I only mention it because so many fans come with remotes now.I like the finish okay. I do like that you can reverse the blades with two different colors. You can also easily change the direction of the blades turn for summer and winter use. It does make a difference when you reverse the direction of the blades for the different seasons. It took me decades to actually start doing this.I’m not a big fan (no pun intended) of candelabra bulbs. Amazingly, all our other ceiling fans use standard base bulbs, and this fan will be the only fixture that uses candelabra bulbs. It does come with bulbs, so I didn’t have to get bulbs just for this fan. I also feel the globes look outdated, but they are the type of globes most basic fans come with. I might be able to replace them in the future.I didn’t install this fan myself, as I’m just not physically able to. I didn’t hear a lot of cursing coming out of the room from the person who installed it for me, so it must have gone smoothly.

For the money I am sold on these fans. Works well, ready installation. I’m sold on these from now on. I had a bad experience with builder grade at the blue store. Never again. These are my go to

Ceiling fans can be expensive, but this one was priced just right. I like the color of the fan and that you can choose a lighter or darker blade shade by flipping it over. I’m not wild about the bulb style, but the bulbs come with it so will use them until they burn out.The directions to install it look fairly straightforward and since we have replaced several fans, don’t expect to have any issues with this one. This will replace an outdated style fan and will improve the look of the room.

I got this Amazon Basics 42″ ceiling fan as a replacement for a flush-mount bedroom light fixture and install was pretty straightforward. The only part that fought me a bit was first installing a ‘remodel ceiling fan brace’ to mount this fan to which is not something most would have had to do if replacing a ceiling fan.It looks good and works as it should. I just find I sleep so much better with a little bit of airflow blowing down in the summer and pulling up in the winter. I should have done this years ago.

Was hard to find a smaller fan that I liked. We have a small “dining room” area that needed a fan, but the normal 52 inch fans are way too big. They would “fit” but they would also look kind of silly. This on aesthetically fits the room, and physically fits without looking gigantic
