    I had an older fan with 5 lights that cooled well. But, like all of us, it got a little old. I started to make odd noises and I thought it might be time to update.I found this one and after reading many reviews got it even though it only had a single light. I actually did make use of the multiple lights of the old one since it sat over a work table in my office. But, I though I could make this one work.Installation was not complicated except for the drop tube. The instructions were not clear (to me) on which order to install the shield, and drop tube but after a couple of tries I got it right. Supporting the fan on the mount was solid and it allows the blades to be added and then get everything secured.The end result was a nice quiet fan with lots of power to move air. The single light is adequate for most needs but I do miss having the extra lights a little. Just a personal preference. I didn’t use the lights except when at the work bench.This fan is a good value, does not take a lot time to get it installed, is quiet and can move a lot of air especially at the higher settings.

    We had this installed by an electrician in one of our children’s bedrooms. We used the included 10″ downrod because the room has a vaulted ceiling. The fan is elegant and I can’t hear the motor at all.

    Easy to install despite instructions. Nice looking.Fan is too fast even on lowest level. On level six you could mount it on an Air Boat and it would power it.Light has three levels of brightness; real bright, extremely bright and blinding. With most ceiling fans you just hold the light button down on the remote and it will dim to your liking.Being only a 42″ fan, I installed it in an 10’X12′ guest bedroom. No doubt I will be looking to replace this fan.
