we purchased 2 of these for our rental condo. I mainly focused on getting the color white, and that it had a remote- when you look at the photo one would think that it has a light. Well No. I gave it 4 stars because the photo of the remote makes you believe there is a light also. Beautiful, works great – but no way to add a light attachment.

I returned it for the same model but with a light fixture. This model will NOT accept a light. Otherwise, a great product!

Happy with the fan, only drawback is fan direction cannot be controlled by remote.

Everything went well with the install and it was super easy to set up. It is of quality material and an elegant design that drifts to the background with a white ceiling and white exposed blades. We didn’t want to draw attention to the fan, so it works perfectly and does its job without becoming a primary focal point. Reduced it by one star to four instead of five as the refurbished model has the slightest of wobbles to it. We only anticipate using it on low and therefore it is not noticeable, but when you run it on level three it gets a little loud. The blades still operate on level three as they should and you cannot detect a wobble, but the motor whines a little louder

I did not use the built-in remote unit. I have a slider on a wall and was concerned it wouldn’t work. The directions show how to wire for that scenario, and the slider works perfectly. I have this in a large family room without a light – the previous one did not have a light either. Just be sure that this is what you want.

The fan has a good look and functions well. It does not make very much noise, and produces a good amount of air. The installation was a bit difficult. If you have not installed a fan before, this might be challenging. There is only enough hardware included to do the job perfectly, so if you lose something you won’t have extras. There is also a large number of parts considering it’s only a fan and not a light. On top of this, the instructions weren’t always clear. It is a good fan, but be advised it can be a challenging install.

Sleek looking, low profile fan. Moves air quite well. Remote control. Very nice.Taking 1 star off because the blades are really really really hard to install. Because these blades go through the housing and attach on an angle its really hard to get each lined up to the 3 holes to screw in the bolts. Couple things that helped. Put 2 blades (1 on each side) in the slots at once to prevent the fan from turning when only 1 (or 3) are inserted. Also, you’ll need to look directly up at the fan to line up the holes (don’t try to do it by feel standing to the side). Use a magnetic screwdriver, stand below, line the holes up, hold the blade with one hand and put the middle bolt/screw in first with your magnetic screw driver (there is not enough room to start it by hand). Keep in mind that while you’re standing below the bolt has to go in on an angle to meet the threads so don’t go at it vertically or the bolt won’t catch. Total time to remove old fan and install this fan was about 60 minutes but about 30 of it was just trying to attach the blades.
