    At last a simple quality fan WITHOUT a remote. If you’ve ever installed the new style remote, you’ll never want to do it again. Quiet, well balanced. Did NOT come with a long downrod so I had to reuse the one from the fan I was taking out. But even after 25 years, HUNTER parts are still interchangeable. Excellent brand and quality.

    It’s quiet, we’ll balanced and looks nice but that’s as far as it goes. I have this installed on my screened in porch which is 12×17 with a 9’ ceiling and leave it on high because of how little air is moved. I find myself looking up to see if it’s even turned on.Plain and simple, this thing sucks.

    After 5 months we finally got our Hunter fan installed. Took an electrician to figure out how to replace a ceiling light fixture with the fan. FYI the location was 15 feet above the floor & needed aa fan electrical box installed without tearing out sheetrock. We got the model 533XX (52″) & the air flow is great. We have a pitched ceiling in the room (400SF) we put it in & really notice the difference in room comfort.
