    The fan has 3 speeds and light control which are changed with the plastic remote that comes with a plastic wall mount. It seems like so many manufacturers are going to the remote instead of the pull chains but they should make the remote better quality.

    3.5 starsMy husband installed this fan in our bedroom. He said it was fairly easy to install, but he’s not a newbie at installing fans, lights, etc. It’s hooked up to a switch to turn it on and off and we attached the remote to the wall by the switch. Turning the switch on turns it on to it’s last setting. The fan is good and has three settings. The light is really dim. Our bedroom is about 12×18 and this light does not illuminate the entire room. If I drop something in the corner, I’m not going to find it just by this light. It’s a light kit so we can’t put a brighter bulb in it.One other issue is the setting for the light. To get it as bright as possible, you have to hold down the light button on the remote. If you hold it down too long it begins to dim again. It would be nice to just be able to turn it all the way up and leave it there.If you want a nice looking fan, this is a good option. If you want a light for a room, this is not a good option.

    Used in bedroom.. the light isn’t very bright.. the fan has nice settings keeping room cool would be perfect with brighter light.

    I really love the modern look and functionality of the fan. I initially bought two and while they were being installed I ordered two more fans. All bedrooms have newly installed fans. I love the remote feature. I was looking for remote feature so my mother could operate easily and independently. I, most definitely, highly recommend this high quality and sleek looking fan to anyone who is making decisions about purchasing a high quality fan. It makes excellent focal and talking points for every bedroom. I have received numerous compliments since they were installed.? Everyone loves them!!! The remote has a wall mounted holder. This houses the remote, keeps it safe, and makes retrieving easy. ?????

    Honestly, I bought this because of the way it looks and it’s built by a reputable company. It is lightweight and very easy to install. The integrated LED is a very warm light (maybe 3000k) and bright enough to accent existing lamps but I wouldn’t rely on it to be a room’s only source of light. The three blade design moves air quickly and quietly and the flush mount completely stabilizes the fan. It is now only two weeks old and works flawlessly. My only complaints would be a light temperature that is had to match with other lights in the room. Other reviewers talk about a dim halogen lamp and lack of air movement. Perhaps that was the case in earlier models but mine works great. Time will tell. Let’s hope that Harbor Breeze comes up with a replaceable lamp housing with different or changeable light temp LED.
