    USED THIS REPLACEMENT MOTOR FOR AN IDENTICAL FAN IN WHICH THE MOTOR AND REMOTE RECEIVER BECAME DEFECTIVE .DID THE JOB AND SAVED A TIDY SUM BY NOT HAVING TO BUY AN ENTIRE REPLACEMENT FAN .

    Bought 3. Worked great for a few days then all of the sudden 1 started to make a clicking sound with every rotation. Sounded as if a label (or something) was stuck inside the motor and was clicking as the motor rotated. It is intermittent. Tried rebalancing the blades, swapping blade locations- no go. Returned it and got another one – it’s doing the same thing. Beautiful fan but annoying clicking sound on 2 of the 3 we bought. They were all installed by a professional electrician who has installed many, many fans.

    C25 remote used to work with this fan. No longer. I bought one thinking it still did.
