This teeny ceiling fan is the right fit for a teeny space. You’re not going to cool a big room with it. But for us, it was a good solution for a small sleeping loft in a guest cottage that gets a bit warmer than the rest of the space.I decided *not* to hardwire it. For one thing, the ceiling fan wiring it came with doesn’t include a ground wire. Maybe I’m being overly cautious but I’m not comfortable hardwiring something inside the ceiling without one. Also, this fan is lightweight; it can hang from its wire without worry of fraying, and so doesn’t need to be permanently installed. And, let’s face it: it’s plastic and inexpensive, so who knows how long it will last?I ditched the socket and wire it came with, which was meant to be hardwired, and ordered a new plug-in hanging lamp kit, here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BLH6RDFG (there are plenty of similar options on Amazon–this is just the first one I saw and I needed something quickly). The fan apparatus is powered by screwing it into a lamp base just as you would any lightbulb. I hung the ceiling fan’s wire as you would a lightweight hanging lamp–from a couple of decorative hooks. This way, I could adjust the distance from the ceiling up or down, as needed. And it works! The remote lets you choose from different lighting options and a couple of different fan speeds, too.Couple of things prevented me from giving this the 5 stars it could have earned. First, it came with absolutely no installation instructions, which really are necessary for something a seller expects you to hardwire. While I didn’t need the instructions, since I’m not hardwiring, the next person probably will.Second, although this is an inexpensive item, it really should have come with a sturdier mounting bracket. The plastic thing it came with is probably supposed to substitute for the usual metal mounting bracket, but even for a lightweight fixture like this, I wouldn’t trust it to hold up the item’s weight indefinitely (which you should be able to expect with any “permanent” fixture), especially since, when in operation, a ceiling fan is in continual motion.Still, it’s a cute little item that fit a particular need I had and might fit a need for you. With the caveats above, it’s a 4-star recommend.

I really like the way that you can change the color and brightness of the light. It’s a small fan, so it does not move a lot of air but it does get some circulation going. I like the adjustability of the light. I’m really pleased with the light, but the fan could use some improvement. It’s small and compact. It’s quiet. I didn’t use the mounting hardware or wiring, i just screwed it in to an existing bulb socket so I cannot review that part of it. Doing what i did, it works great.

Not sure why they call this a bladeless fan, of course it has blades, but they are contained within the housing of the light. The fan is really quiet and produces quite a bit of air flow. Three speeds and brightness controls with Remote. Easy to install, I didn’t attempt to hook up separate switches for the different functions, I let the remote do all the work.

This ceiling fan is good for a small room or over a desk as the air flow is very concentrated unlike a conventional ceiling fan which spreads the air out across the room. The installation was easy but the ceiling rose it comes with is far too small for most ceiling boxes and gaps are present once installed. the light itself works very well.

I’m sorry. I thought this might be cool, but it really just looks cheap and unattractive. My husband is going to hook it up in his workshop where only he will have to look at it. I will update my review with his opinion once he does so. If you are a Type A person who thrives on clear instructions to follow be warned that you may not be a fan of this fan.

A lot smaller than expected. The plastic seems very cheap. So guess you get what you pay for!! Didn’t even want to go through the trouble of installing it due to the cheaply made material.

OK, so my first time ordering one of these (identical model, different name) it arrived broken. This one arrived in good shape, so that’s a bonus I guess. The main unit has a standard light socket screw-in connection. If you happen to have a single light socket that points downward, you can forego the cable and just connect directly and it does work. The remote is the same old cheap Chinese membrane thing you get in every LED device from China these days, but the fan works, the light is fairly bright, and it’s a good basic way to add a ceiling fan to a room.HOWEVER… This comes with NO directions. Just a little single-sheet that makes next to no sense. And the problem is that if you need to use the cable to extend this, the cable they include with it ends in two bare wires and NOT a screw-in light socket connection. That means that if you want to hook this up, you’ll need to know how to wire it in, or hire an electrician. They give no instructions whatsoever on how to use this cable and it’s two bare wires, so good luck! I wouldn’t recommend mucking about with your household wiring without knowing what you’re doing, or even which wire is positive and which is negative. A decent manual would have been nice. Even a little clue as to what we’re supposed to do with those wires might have been helpful, but alas… Nothing. So I’m forced to give this a three-star review. A lack of instructions is a knock against any product, and the fact that this is an electric device that terminates in bare wires without any explanation or guidance means that it’s not only poorly-documented, but it could be dangerous in the wrong hands. I’m going to call it three stars. It’s OK. The fan works, but that lack of information is just too much to ignore in this case.

Super easy to install, and I love that it has a remote! I can definitely feel the fan power in a room that otherwise has no airflow. The light is a great addition and the brightness being adjustable is awesome. There is also a timer which is very convenient. Quality seems better than it looks. Very happy to have this!
