    I read thru these reviews and there were so many people saying this fan wasn’t good that I almost didn’t buy it. But, I took a chance because, well, Amazon has free returns. And so far i’m GLAD I took the chance.First, putting it together was a no brainer. Putting it up was a little hard as it’s fairly heavy. Hooking up the remote box wasn’t too bad. Wiring it in was fairly straight forward. The remote even came with the battery. OK. So far so good so let’s go.Turned the power on and hit the remote and….nothing. Oh, yeah. I forgot to pull the chains. BOOM. The light worked perfect and so did the fan in all 3 speeds forward and backwards. What’s more is it was virtually silent except for the whisp of the air the blades made.I am quite please. Only time will tell of it’s longevity but right now it was just perfect. 5 stars plus 5 extra stars for having everything other reviewers said it didn’t.

    I honestly have not put the fan up yet but I was really surprised that it looks just like the pictures. I really like it. Once I have it up I will come back to give an update. My only concern is that the base is really heavy really good material.

    So far we like the looks of the fan but the the directions for installing are not to clear on how to place the bracket. Still working on the install so we have no idea if it will be good or not. We have written to the email address that came with it . Hope to hear after the weekend.

    It’s a good looking fan, but there are some issues. First, there’s the issue with finding bulbs to work. The suggested bulbs won’t fit, so you’ll need to find something else. And if you’re in California, there is some reason that many options sold here on Amazon can’t be shipped to you, further reducing your options. I bought and returned at least 4 sets of bulbs before landing on a set that work. The included remote kit doesn’t allow for dimming, so I replaced it with a kit that dims the led bulbs I ended up with. I was eventually quite happy, until I realized that there are so many surfaces for dust to collect that it quickly turns into a nightmare. All fan blades collect gobs of dust, but with this model, so does every nook and cranny in the cage, as well as the bulbs themselves. I’m tired of climbing up a ladder to clean this thing.

    I am so glad I went with this fan. There were other options, that were less costly, but I am certain I made the right decision. This fan is quiet, sturdy, heavy duty! The remote control was included and I ordered batteries from Amazon at the same time as I ordered the fan so I had them on hand when installing the fan. The remote control is a neat feature. I am just thrilled. Also, I wasn’t sure if the remote was included automatically so I did send an e-Mail and Verna responded quickly and assured me it would be but that if for some reason it wasn’t just to let her know and she would get one out to me and I have no doubt that she would have!

    We replaced and older fan with 3 small lights to this fan with 5 regular sized lights and we have so much more light in the master bedroom. It was easy to follow the instructions and it worked perfect the first time. It doesn’t make any noise and is perfectly balanced. It light bulbs are exposed, and not in a glass cover which helps with lighting up the room.

    Bulbs suggested did not fit. Too large. The blades have a mauve colored band around them, which is not attractive or go with the style. The part that allows it to be operated by remote was missing a small switch. Till I can find a decorator light bulb, it isn’t as attractive as it could be.
