The style is beautiful! Definitely made my dinning room look so elegant., the issue is 2 of the 4 lightbulbs did not work. I just ordered replacement bulbs, also if you have a dimmer switch, you will have issues! The electrician I hired had to cut off the use to dimmer and only use the remote.

Having had zero reviews from others, I took a chance and bought this fan because it really fit with the style of our newly renovated bedroom.I’ll start with the cons first… I had so many issues getting the fan to work, believing I had gotten a dud. The wiring was straight forward but it did not work, no matter what we did. No lights. No fan. Long story short, it turned out that the dimmer switches that we have were interfering with the fan and not providing it enough juice to turn on the lights or the fan. The next gripe is that there is a loud beep whenever you turn on/off the lights or fan, or simply want to change fan speed. It’s by design but it could be enough to wake your spouse if you were to adjust it in the middle of the night. And lastly, practically everything operates from the remote control. If you lose that remote, you’re pretty much out of luck. At the time of this review, Hunter is back-ordered on these remotes for 4 more months. Now for the positives. The fan is very stylish and contemporary. We have a pretty decent sized bedroom and the LED lights are enough to adequately light the room. We did replace the bulbs with brighter daylight LEDs and it seems to help throw the light even more. As for the power of the unit, this thing has so much velocity that you can feel the breeze from all corners of the room at its fastest setting. Anyone who would claim this fan isnt strong enough is lying. The fan is also extremely quiet. Aside from the blades moving the air at a high rate of speed, you would hardly know it’s on.I’m happy with the purchase but I may yet physically break the little speaker that emits the beep noise, at some point, since there is no setting to turn off the beep. And I know I’ll be buying a second remote so my wife and I can fight over fan speed. 🙂

Difficult to install, remote is confusing.

  4. Drew

Good: It’s a nice fan. Looks good, pretty easy to install, moves a lot of air.Bad: It doesn’t work well with two wall switches. It comes with a remote and like many of these new remote controlled fans, the main wall switch provides power to the unit and you do the rest with the remote. This one will not operate the light separately – the fan wall switch must always be on. A little annoying.Really Bad: Hunter decided that there must be positive feedback every time you push a button on the remote and they decided that feedback needs to be a loud, high-pitched beep. This is beyond annoying. It is intolerable. Every time you turn it on, turn the light on, change the fan speed, dim the light, etc., it beeps. The beep is similar to a smoke detector in pitch, though not as loud. Dogs will FREAK OUT and people will get angry. We found a YouTube video where a guy showed how to dig into the guts of the unit and kill the speaker. It wasn’t easy, especially since I had completely installed the unit before I realized it was going to drive me crazy. According to the Hunter website, “deal with it” (I may have paraphrased). They know it beeps and they think it is just fine. It is NOT.Update 9/2021:We love the look of this fan so much that we bought two more for our new house. Just need to kill the beeper and it’s perfect.

I replaced a 12 year old Hamptonbay fan with this one. It creates a lot more airflow and it has a modern/updated look.

Remote control was flimsy but works well however you need to understand how to make reverse work , we misplaced the manual and took a little time to figure out how to reverse the fan most remotes have a separate button to reverse the rotation

This fan looks good and works great. Easy to install

  8. Miori

This fan looks good, works well, but the remote control makes a loud noise each time you use it. It’s very annoying. The instructions to install it aren’t clear. The installation process was very complicated.
