    Purchased two for living room and bedroom to help lower air conditioning bill. Not sure it has helped since haven’t received bill yet. Electrican installed before realizing no remote control. They do cool rooms nicely and are very quiet. Not sure how easy to install since electrican installed.

    Fans run quiet and are easy to install. I like them. Only thing I didn’t like, I bought 5 fans and most of them have a scratched blade or missing color spot on blade and no color repair provided.

    This thing has a VERY high power high speed, only problem is it wobbles like crazy on high. Had an electrician install and he there is not much more he can do. He also installed another Hunter fan. No wobble on that one. Also, the blades do match picture or description. They are just dark brown. Other side is darker brown as pictured. only one size download included ( the short one)

    We have purchased two of these fans and I installed the last one myself. They work wonderfully after installation and they are quiet (unless you are hypersensitive to noise) and move a respectable amount of air to cool a bedroom even on the low setting. My only complaint is it took about three hours of frustration to install by myself. If I was an experienced installer I am sure it would have been completed faster. I have installed lighting before but this was my first ceiling fan.The crux of the problem is the bracket. The bracket was about a 1″ too wide and would not align to screw into the outlet box. My house is 25 years old and maybe outlet boxes have altered? No problem, after several adjustments to squeeze the bracket, I was able to get it to properly screw into the outlet box. The remaining assembly went fine until the shield/canopy that covers the fan swivel in the bracket and the wiring had to be screwed into place. It screws into the bracket that I had adjusted so it did not come close to fitting the bracket now. It was a frustrating half hour or so of fighting it to get the canopy to align and screw into the bracket with two very short screws. I said a number of very bad words. 🙂 After that, the remaining installation of the blades and light was easy as pie.Even with the problems incurred, I would purchase another one. I will be prepared for the potential problems and have a trusty helper who is stronger than I to adjust bracket and shield.One other note – after about six months the switch on the first fan installed that adjusts the fan speed quit working. The only speed it will run on is low. I hope to replace the switch.

    My wife and I purchased two of the 42″ and two of the 52″ fans, and we couldn’t be happier. We love the design and look of this model. There were no balance issues after installation and the improved air flow is highly noticeable.***EDIT UPDATE 3 YEARS***I was going thru my reviews and noticed this one and felt I needed to give an update. After three years with our four fans, we still have no major issues. Each fan cirucaltes the air just like day one, none of them make noises, and no balance issues have crept up (yet). The blades hae little rubber gromets between the arm and the blade. and afte rthree years thier starting to ware. I can move the blade up and down as if the screws are loose but their not. While I’ve gotten three solid years out of them, this does concern me. Upon installing the fans there was some wiggle in them but based on the gromets/design and research that was normal, but the amount of give after three years doesn’t seem normal. While I don’t have balance issues (yet), I will probalby reach out to the Mfg. and order replacement gromets, not a big deal but I think I should have gottent atleast 5 years. because of that I am docking my five star reveiw down to four stars.
