Love this fan. It looks even better in person. The color is very in right now. It really dresses you my guest room the bulbs are glass and look great. The remote is so nice and convenient as well. I wish I got this for all my bedrooms.

This fan is beautiful and functions well. The controller is not intuitive at all. I have to look at the manual to remember which keys to hold to perform which action, etc. I would probably get to know them by heart after a while, but this is a fan my husband, who had a stroke 11 years ago, uses primarily, and he will never remember.

This is our 3rd ceiling fan install, we are not electricians, and this thing was a breeze to install! It honestly had the most straight forward, detailed instruction manual I had ever seen. It has diagrams and talks to y ou like a person. They individually wrap the hardware for each step into well labeled packages so that you don’t mix things up or use the wrong one. They include extra pieces in case you lose something. They give you a fan balancing kit and a remote control cheat sheet too. The remote actually has way more features than I expected – it can do the normal on/off, fan speed up/down, but it can also turn dimming features on/off and reverse the direction of the fan! I’ve always had to climb a ladder and flip a switch on the unit itself to switch the fan direction. It also came with a great tool for installing the light globes – maybe you all already have one but I have never used one before. I’m used to cramming my hand into the globe and squeezing my fingertips onto the tiny ring while I unscrew it. They give you a metal tool that specifically locks into the ring and helps you unscrew it with ease, and without getting fingerprints all over your globes. GENIUS! My fiance installed this quickly with very little help from me (which is a miralce in itself). It has to be one our quickest home upgrades and the least stressful. Everything seems very high quality. The fan definitely moves some air while also being fairly quiet. The remote does beep and I’m not sure if you can turn that off.If I could change anything, I would eliminate the remote beeps and I would frost the globe glass. It’ll inevitably get dust stuck to it (I have other downward facing glass globes that do) and they end up looking dirty. Frosted ones are a bit softer and stay looking clean longer. I do know the clear globes are “in” right now.Overall fantastic experience so far and really glad we picked this fan!

Ok, so this Hunter fan is everything i’d hoped it would be, other then the fact that it arrived with a defect in the glass of one of the light caps. In the images i’ve provided you should be able to see what looks like a splinter inside the glass of one of the light caps. It’s a small defect that i assume occurred when the glass was being made. I absolutely would have given this fan five stars if it wasn’t for that. The fan overall is excellent. It’s very aesthetically pleasing to the eye. It’s sleek looking and very well made. It’s definitely the quality i would expect from Hunter. It puts off a tremendous amount of light, which is great, because that’s the main reason i decided to get it. My old ceiling fan just didn’t put off enough light. I love how it’s dimmable. I was pretty impressed with all the functions of the remote, and the fan is nice and quiet. All in all i’m very happy with the fan, i’m just a bit dissapointed about the defect in the glass.
