    works as advertised. I used closthes pins one at a time to find the blade that needed some weight. kept adding the clothes pins till the fan had zero wobble. I then weighed on a kitchen gram scale the total weight of the clothe spins and then added the desired balancing weights. Worked like a charm. I can run my fan on high now without any wobble at all.

    It took me a while to figure out how to find the heavier blade that was causing the wobble. You tube has a few helpful videos to help you know how to use these. These worked as they should. Out of the 4 clips only 1 broke when I tried to use it. The weights have been on my fan for 5 days and they are still on there. So no issues there. I’m just glad i don’t have to hear the wobble noise anymore.

    The product is a bit overpriced and the weights are not as attractive as the metal type of weights in some fan balance kits. The weights look like magnetic/adhesive sheet material, but this material is not magnetic. The instructions are of poor quality. Some of the reviews talk about the clip breaking easily. I found that taking a flat bladed screw driver, about 1/4 inch wide, and inserting it perpendicular to the slot opening in the clip at about the middle of the slot, then turn the screw driver 90 degrees to increase the opening of the clip. Then use the screw driver held clip to slip the clip onto the fan blade. Then turn the screw driver 90 degrees so that the screw driver blade is parallel to the clip slot to release the screw driver. Do not leave the screw driver in the clip when turning any fan blade. To remove the clip, reverse the process. A caution: the use of a screw driver can cause damage to the clip jaws, which could potentially cause damage to the fan blade from the plastic burrs that can be created by the screw driver blade insertion.

    So I’m a little hard of hearing, some (my wife) might say a little more than just “a little” hard of hearing. Blame blue collar work around loud machines, loud cars, firearms, rap music or whatever. So anyways the ceiling fan started wobbling and making noise. I could see the slight wobble but couldn’t hear anything. She insisted it was there and driving her crazy and interrupting her sleep. Happy wife, happy life I order this kit and install it and have her listen to it. 20 minutes after moving the clips around, she says it’s perfect and she finally stops making vague threats about all the places “they’d never find the body”.TLDR: Will potentially fix the problem you didn’t know was a problem and save you from having some cement shoes “custom fitted”.To the people saying the clips are tight, they are BUT they also need to fit a wide range of fans and stick well enough not to fly off and take out the TV screen when you put the fan on high. Do not twist them to open them more they will break just push them straight onto the blade and they will be fine.

    The product itself is fine but the picture shows both white and black adhesive pieces to balance the fan. There were only black pieces, I have two fans with dark paddles and two fans with white paddles.
