    Fit perfectly, looks great on a Hampton Bay 52″ ceiling fan. I would like to suggest to people that are looking to buy a downrod for their ceiling fan, please do yourself a favor and illiminate or reduce frustration by first removing your old downrod before shopping for a new one. Look at your existing downrod closely and see if one end of it is threaded or not. Some downrods are threaded on the end(s) and some aren’t. The one I purchased is not threaded. I’ve seen a lot of bad reviews simply because people are buying the wrong one and giving negative reviews for their own mistake. I would also suggest that you measure the outside diameter of the downrod since not all downrods are the same size diamter.

    Although the pic clearly shows no threads on one end, the mfg answered a question from a prospective buyer and advised that Indeed these rods are threaded and have the locking pin hole on one end. Not the case. These rods are as the picture reflects and are unusable for majority of fans.

    Although it appeared this part would meet the requirements for installation, it did not have the ends with ability to be screwed in. Not worth returning but Be Careful if you order this.
