This is a review of the ceiling fan with the memory chip. Before I bought it, I noticed some reviewers bought the version without memory, and were upset that the fan didn’t remember its last setting when the wall switch was turned off.I wired the light to work through the wall switch, and the fan is wired to a constant power source. I pulled the chain for the light one time, and now it turns on and off with the wall switch. I use the pull chain for the fan, so I can’t vouch for its memory.

I like the look and feel of the fan. However, it is impossible to turn the fan on by a switch. I didn’t learn this until after it had been installed by an electrician. Even if you flip the switch to the ON position, you STILL have to pull the string on the fan to get it moving. That’s regardless of if it was already moving when you last turned the switch OFF. Incredibly annoying.

You CANNOT turn this fan on with the wall switch!!! Total deal breaker. You can turn it off with the switch but to turn it on you have to turn the wall switch on and THEN pull the chain…EVERY TIME! I’m so sad because I love the way this fan looks. The light is nice, not to bright, not to dark. It’s quiet, it moves air well. But I’m not pulling a chain every time I want to turn the fan on. I returned it.

The LED lights are not enough to brighten the entire room. Because I couldn’t fine someone to put it up until now, I’m beyond the return window otherwise I’d return it. The instructions were not correct for electrical. It didn’t tell you what the hookup was for all of the 8 wires & they were NOT labeled as the instructions said.DON’T BUY!

BUYER BEWARE! This ceiling fan is loud and doesn’t push much air. There isn’t a way for me to contact seller to see if we got a defective fan. I normally do not leave bad reviews but this fan is terrible. The high setting is the same as the low setting.
