    I ordered two 65″, one 52″ and one 44″ as the distressed Koa matched my floor color but none of the light wave fans are high RPM. Even at the highest speed setting, you barely feel the wind standing underneathe even when I used the 6″ downrod for all fans. Please do not buy if you are looking for a high wind fan, but go ahead if you are looking to just circulate the air within the room. Remote is good and can be integrated with Alexa using Bond bridge (had to buy that separate). Have to use a floor fan for the next many years as I threw the boxes they came in and now I cannot return these.

    I bought this fan for the kitchen, to match another one hanging in line of sight in the living room. It matches exactly. The only problem is on default setting the remotes cross talk. So I had to change a few dip switches to give this remote and fan a different frequency. I wish I could put this fan on a wall switch instead of remote control. Why are they all remote control now? Who is so lazy they can’t turn on the light and the fan using a switch? Now I have a remote control velcro’d to my switch panel which looks cheesy. Please offer me a switch.

    I was wary about purchasing this fan because some people have and negative experiences with installing it. My experience was different. Overall not a hard install if you already have a fan support bracket in place which I did. Extremely quiet, almost silent. The light does not have a dimmer function so it is a little bright for a bedroom.Only complaint I have is I ordered it with a 3 inch post so I could install it as close to the ceiling as possible. I had to go back to the supplied 6 inch post because it’s impossible to install with the smaller post because of the connections you must make under the cover plate. The 3 inch post does not allow you to move the cover plate enough to make those connections.Overall very pleased. Looks great.

    I purchased two of these to replace some very ugly fans in my living room. Since my ceiling is not very high, I opted for the 3.5″ downrod. I had them professionally installed because installation is a bit tricky (it took the electrician 1.5 hours for 2 fans), but they work wonderfully and give the room a much needed modern upgrade. Since the two fans are the same model, they are controlled by the same remote (i.e. you can’t have 2 remotes to operate them), but this doesn’t bother me. The light is VERY bright (almost too bright) and even one of them lights up the room (14’x21′) very well. This is the second room in my house with a distressed koa Minka fan and I’m very happy with the purchase. They do require a break-in period of being run to stop a slight rattling sound, so hopefully that will resolve like the manufacturer says after 24 hours.Update: these are dimmable by holding down the “on” button for the light. On their own the LED is blinding bright but when dimmed they are amazing! I couldn’t be happier about these fans and the Minka company is great when it comes to customer service. I’m very happy.
