Our ceilings are really low, and this is a great fit for us. The fan comes fully assembled, and installation is as easy as it gets, 10-15 min tops.The setup comes with the remote controller, but you can also download the app and control the fan via phone. It features 3 light colors: warm white, white light and natural light and it’s dimmable. Fan has 6 speeds plus reversible blades so you can use it in summer to cool down the room or winter to help bring the warm air down and warm up the space. Visual appearance is awesome. You can’t see the blades because they are made of clear acrylic, but you can definitely feel the breeze. The air is a little more center focused blowing down and the light is much, much brighter compared to regular ceiling fans because the surface or the light is much greater with this design. I am very happy with this fan, I am getting similar unit for my kitchen, just a different color to match my décor. But I definitely love the generous lighting options and brightness with this one.

The air gets blown down, not really as wide of a breeze area like a regular ceiling fan. The remote doesn’t come with batteries so I had to download the app in order to test all the functions. I’m glad is had a yellow light option bc the white is sterile and very bright.

With a helping hand to hold while I did the wiring, this took less than 10 minutes to install. It’s nice that is has the 4 different grooves so you can align the wood side to match the room.The ceiling fan moves quite a bit of air, but it is essentially a normal oscillation floor fan mounted to the ceiling without the oscillation, so expect that noise level. Not as quiet as advertised, but also not loud enough to be too distracting. Sometimes on higher speeds the cover will spin, which is really entertaining to our child.It looks really good and matches this room well for us with the wood strip. The finish on the wood isn’t perfectly smooth, so I had to sand it a little bit, not that its likely that someone will touch it. The cover on the light doesn’t quite fit perfectly either, it took a bit of adjustment to prevent the light from leaking. So fit and finish isn’t top notch.The App doesn’t seem like it is safe to use in the US, so stick to the remote it works well enough. If you don’t want to have to adjust the color temperature and brightness every time you flip the switch, just leave the switch on and use the remote to turn it off. It has been a welcome addition to our home office.

Got this for our loft area upstairs. We have recessed lighting all around, but this adds a different light to the mix. We didn’t want a big fan for the space, just something compact and quiet to help move the air around a bit. If you’re underneath it or within a few feet of it, you’ll feel the breeze. It’s an 18” fan, so don’t expect miracles. This is well suited for small spaces. If you have a walk in closet, this would be perfect for that because it will provide ample light and keep you cool while you figure out what to wear. Overall, pretty satisfied with this. Our old light in that spot never got used, but this definitely will get plenty of use.

What I like: 1) It blows cold.2) It has a remote.3) My brother-in-law spent about half an hour installing it. There is a bracket that sits right up on the ceiling box.What I hate: everything else.And below I will explain the one star:I’m glad I didn’t leave my old fan by the side of the road yet because it may be going back up.I hate this fan. It is advertised as quiet. That would be false advertising. It is very, very loud on low speed. I can barely think straight. I have to really turn up the TV. High speed drowns out the world, and not in a good way.I wasn’t going to load the app, but I thought about it and decided it might be a good idea because: A) my two year old granddaughter is obsessed with remotes and might lose this one. And B) the fan doesn’t remember the settings you left it at when you turned off via the switch. So if you have the fan on low & the light in dim, and turn it off with a light switch, when you turn it back on, no fan, just the light on bright bowling alley setting. If you only have the fan on and turn it off via the switch, when you turn it back on, again, bowling alley bright light. If you use the remote to turn off the light in dim, when you turn it back on with the remote, it will turn on bright. Same with the two modes of light. If you switch to the other hue, you start with super duper bright again. I hate it.So, I have Android and I go to the Playstore. The app is foreign owned and wants access to my SD card, location, and camera. Oye, see picture of app security safety, aka no info given. The reviews are mostly bad and site the security issue. If you say “no”, the app closes. After I tried another app and it didn’t work, I went ahead and loaded the FanLamp app and agree to let it access my phone (life). I loaded it twice and was never able get it to work. It’s great it has a QR code on the back of the remote, but it won’t link up the fan.And yes, I am seriously thinking of putting the old fan back up. I cannot recommend this fan. It looks great up on my ceiling with the faux wood finish, but the light operation of the fan, the loudness, and the app not connecting, just makes this a no-go for me.Update: Sleeping with it on is okay because it’s like a noise machine, but it’s still too loud. But here’s what happened at 6:05 a m. on a Sunday morning: the power went out for a second. Then the fan went off. The power immediately came back on. The kitchen oven beeped, which is how I knew it was the power and not the fan’s programming. Instead of the fan shutting down like my TV and staying off, the fan came back on in reset mode. So at 6:05 a.m., my fan’s light came on in its full brightness mode. I had to blindly scramble for the remote to turn it off. Not a great way to wake up, on my day off, at 6:05, on a Sunday.Unacceptable.

I was hoping this would be a quality replacement for my hunter fan. I liked the picture and thought it would update the look of my office. Unfortunatly the quality was so low upon unboxing I opted not to use it. It is very flimsy plastic and more like a cheap floor fan than a quality ceiling fan.
