I originally purchased 3 light fixtures. We struggled with the remote control with 2 of them. I asked for an Amazon rep to call me, they did! They were very pleasant to deal with and connected me with the vendor. The vendor addressed the issue within 7 days during the busy holidays. I went ahead and ordered an additional one because of the price, quality and service. The fan is extremely quiet and I love that the remote control has a kit to mount it on the wall. My kids should never misplace them. Now, time will tell how it holds up but for now the 4 bedrooms look lively.

I love this unit. I have 4 different types in my house and this is my favorite by far. I wish I could control it from my smart home app, but the hand-held remote options are good, just less convenient.

I like the fact that is close to the ceiling because my ceiling is low . The light is very bright , the fan has different speed and one cannot tell there is a fan . It has enhanced my living room .

Very happy so far! Lightweight, and only took a few minutes to install. I’m replacing another fandelier that worked for a few months and then died.I like this one much better since the fan is more powerful and has separate buttons for reversing the direction of the blades. This light also has a lot more options for brightness/color from blue-white to yellow-ish.Another reviewer mentioned that if you use the remote to turn it off, the light settings will be the same when you turn it back on with the remote. If you use the light switch, it won’t remember settings. So that was helpful to know.Overall, I highly recommend this light after initial install.Edit: After having this light for several months, I do find I cannot sleep at night using the remote to turn it off. I have to use the wall switch to get it to completely turn off. This is pretty significant since the one of the main points of having the remote is to be able to turn it off without having to get out of bed, thus fully waking yourself back up. I now have to use a bedside lamp instead of the overhead light in the evenings before bed. Due to this issue, I would not purchase this same light again. If you like the idea of a nightlight on all night long (not good for healthy rem sleep), or use a sleep mask, then it would still be great.
