    Most home remodelers will recommend you hire a professional electrician, mainly for safety reasons. I would recommend it just because of the degree of difficulty. I’m not a certified electrician but have done my share of electrical wiring over the years and felt confident enough to tackle this. The big thing to remember is to make sure you not only have the power off, but I’d recommend an inexpensive electrical tester (I have one shaped like a large Sharpie marker) so you know there is no current before starting. There are multiple wires to twist together and it is very cramped working while mounting it and you may need another set of arms. Lastly, I put one of these in a room that formerly had 2 switches: 1 for the light and 1 for the fan. This doesn’t work that way, the fan is operated by a remote and not a wall switch. And, there is no pull chain, either. If replacing an older light and fan assembly, make sure to properly cap off the extra live wire which won’t be used.

    The little fan has three speeds and is surprisingly powerful. It is remote operated and makes a high-pitch, annoying beep everytime it is turned on or switches speed/mode. There is a short lag time between modes, which is probably why it beeps. I wish there was a way to disable the beep! Otherwise great product.

    If you are wanting a lot of air movement, this is not for you. You have to be standing directly under it to feel anything. It is very stylish, and I love the way it looks, but it does not cool a room very well.

    This light fixture is so unique. I was very hesitant to buy it because I thought the fan wouldn’t be strong, but after installing I love it. Its small and the fan is very strong. I love that it has remote control it makes it very easy to use, by saying that I bought another one. Good quality and very chic.

    1st you should know that this fan neeps with every click of the remote. 2nd you should know that the fan randomly turns on all by itself. This fan just circulates the air it does now cool a roon like a regular ceiling fan, wiyh that said it’s great for a small room 10×11 or less. So yes this fan is questionable at best and you can not get answers or fixes from the company.

    First, it is much smaller than the pictures make it look. Second, it beeps (really loud) every time you change a setting. It doesn’t remember the settings; every time I turn the light switch on, we have to use the remote to turn the fan back on (and hear the beeps). Really annoying!!! Wish I could return it but I paid an electrician to install it.
