Amazon Customer –
This fan has great air flow and it looks very high end/boutique. The version I have is gloss white and I appreciate that it was made in Taiwan. It was for the most part very easy to put together. However, there seems to be some minor control issues that made what would have otherwise been a very easy installation, somewhat difficult. As pictured, some of the alignment for screws is off which leads to the fan blades not lining up correctly. In another similar instance the part did not fit and so it required to cut away at the underside plastic with a razor blade in order to make it fit. Also, while the remote will remember the last setting when it comes on from a wall switch, it can take 5 or more seconds to kick on and will occasionally beep once when doing so.Over all I really like the fan but I would be hesitant to buy from this brand in the future.

This fan is exactly what I needed, modern and sleek, very unique and has great smart home integration and features. Some other reviewers have complained about quality and lifespan so we shall see.

This fan is pricey but impressive in function and style. The air movement created by this is enough to be felt in our entryway, which is about 80 linear feet from where the fan is installed in our living room. It is winter time now, and we have it set to winter mode. Working in conjunction with the fan upstairs (with open railing) it is keeping the warm air circulating and keeping our furnace from turning on as much as it did before. We have only had it installed for less than one month, but our Nest report shows that our furnace was on less through January than December, despite it being colder more days in January and us being home more in January and eco-mode being on less. That was also reflected in our gas bill which was $10 less.Installation was a breeze, but by and large, the electrical wiring installation is going to be heavily dependent on the wiring in your house. For instance, when we first installed this fan, we could either get the fan working, or the included wall switch working, but not both at the same time. It turns out tucked way back in the switch box (uncapped i might add, thanks Pulte) were two hot wires that needed to be tied into the hot wire that was connected to the original light switch. So, basically, there may be some frustration with the install, but it more likely than not is the wiring in your house and not the fan.The App works greats. It’s not often these days that you get a product and the supporting app works well, but this one does. One thing to keep in mind, the colors are pretty unique to modern forms, and as such finding down rods that match will not be possible at big box stores, so measure the size of down rod you need an order it with the fan if the included (I think 4 inch) down rod is not enough.Bottom line, if you have the money and are looking for a stylish modern fan that will be sure to start a conversation, then this is the fan for you.

Wifi voice control over Alexa works perfect every time and I can control tell it winter mode, summer mode, fan speed, on/off its great and looks awesome. The silver one that I have looks like its off of a car. The only bad thing I can say is that there was a little scratch on my paint finish but because its not so visible from the ground I did not worry about it. Fan is super silent and pushes good about of air for a large living room area. I got a bond device also to control other fans with Alexa voice and I have had no luck at all for it to work and no company support. The Vortex on the other hand works perfect! Its a work of art and a true statement piece.

This fan is not like the others. My home is full of pop art in black frames. The Vortex is a highlight in our great room. It is super quiet. 6 speeds that move air on even the slowest speed. A bit of a challenge putting together and hanging, but well worth it. Nice wall switch and works with Alexa. Customer service is super nice once you get them on the phone. We will buy other Modern Forms in the future. Here is the lighting fixture we bought to go with the fan: https://amzn.to/3lRSAhj We did buy a Fanimation for the bedroom. This is a quiet fan that doesn’t look like all the others.https://amzn.to/3jPh3lLAs an Amazon Associate, I earn from your qualifying purchases.

Haven’t put it up for operation yet, but so far I’m a bit skeptical. The device I received was very poorly machined. The clevis pin was slightly too large for one of the holes on the motor assembly, this I had to gently hammer it into place. The threading on the motor assembly, where the down rod screws in, seemed to be threaded poorly and jammed in two different spots when screwing in the down rod. Used a silicon based lubricant to unjam, and then to unjam again at a later point. When attempting to connect the motor assembly to the fan blades, the holes on the assembly are not properly spaced (ie one hole lines up perfectly, while it’s companion if off-center. After some wrangling to get it closely aligned the threading locked and jammed the screw.Returning. Hopefully, it was just one bad unit.

Style, function. Perfect addition to the bedroom. Did not use tech support instructions were sufficient. Other than cumbersome to install, needed helping hands, it was easy to install.

Bought two of these to update my kitchen and living room ceiling fans. Install was pretty easy, very impressive fan in person. Was able to install and setup using the android app for modern forms. Got Alexa to recognize them and they work prefectly with voice commands and love that they can be reversed for winter use with the app! Awesome fan that pushes a lot of air and very attractive.
