This fan produces a consistent humm, groan. Unacceptable level for a bedroom installation. Honestly unacceptable in any location.My box arrived beat to heck, but thats more of a Amazon issue then the manufacturer. The fan itself is of a light weight construction but its hung on the ceiling so that really shouldn’t matter.NOISY!!!

This is the second one I purchased, the first is a different brand that has more options on the remote (more fan speeds and reverse for winter/summer) and is much quieter. This one has an annoying motor noise if set anything above low, I couldn’t imagine having this in a bedroom and trying to sleep. I love the look and plan to purchase a couple more, but will stick to the original brand I purchased even though it costs a bit more.

These are so awesome. Love that the blades are not seen until you turn it on. Pushes a good amount of air even on low. Lights are bright. Highly recommended!! I don’t know how easy the installation is we had an electrician do it but he said once he did one they were easy to figure out afterwards.

Finally got around to installing fan. Instructions aren’t the greatest. Once installed fan would not work and light sockets would accept any bulbs. Sockets were too big for conventional bulbs. Tried two different kinds and they just won’t screw in tight. I’ve had to fan too long to return, so it’s looks like I’m just out and have some junk to get rid of!@

The way the fan blades can just fold up so easily makes this design very convenient in my opinion. Good power and the remote works great. Tough construction. Has a rugged, sort of farmhouse look to me. Fairly easy to get it installed, but we hired an electrician. Easy to adjust the height with the way the down rods are set up. Love the added safety factor of a metal cage. The unique curve to the blades is also rather cool looking.

This fan arrived promptly and packaged well with no damage. After we removed the old fan we discovered that in doing so the preparations for this fan were pretty much done. The rest of the installation was pretty straight forward but there is a lot of over the head work, kind of a duh! when installing a ceiling fan. The remote works well and the performance of the fan is top notch. I really like the functioning of this fan and the versatility it provides makes it a step above the others in the same category.
