I was very excited about this light fixture. It overall looks very good and is good for the price. I makes minimum noise and I can feel the air in the entire room. But I did I find some issues that needs to be worked upon. 1. The mount this came with was too wide for the ceiling electric box I had and I had to replace the box for mounting this fixture. 2. The electric wires seem coming out from the fixture were too thin and i was worried if they would detach or break while twisting(attaching) the fan to mount. 3. If you intend to operate the light using the wall switch it will always go back to the white (cool) light and you need the remote every time to get a yellow (warm) light. 4. The remote could have been more sturdy and there is no way to stop the beep when a change is made.

I have returned a couple of these style of lights, mainly because they are louder than I like. This one, at this price point (<$150.00), is the best I've tried. An attractive and modern low profile ceiling fan with mulitple lighting options, my daughter loves it and it’s perfect for a room with a canopy bed.We stood in her room and we could feel the air in multiple places throughout her room within a certain proximity to the fan but mind you, her ceiling is a 10 ft ceiling. I wouldn’t say (as others have reported), that the air only shoots straight down. I would say that if you put this fan in a large room and expect to feel the air all throughout the room like a regular ceiling fan, you’ll be disappointed. This fan is better suited in a bedroom or den/office. We needed it for air flow in a teenagers room and if you have a teen, you know what I mean…I took off a star bc a small section of the thin metal trim piece on the light was bent and had seperated from the light. We didn’t notice until we had already put the fan up. My husband super glued it, clamped it and it is barely noticable now but for $185, the inspections on these fans before leaving the manufacaturer should be a lot better.Based on what I have read, once the lights burn out, the unit is basically a ceiling mounted box fan so I would not recommend installing one of these in a high use area like a kitchen, dining room etc. I only purchased bc my kids rarely use the ceiling lights in their rooms; they prefer natural lighting and/or reading lights. Would I buy again? Yes, but IDK if I’d pay almost $200 for one of these bc I consider them to be short term, 2-4 years based on use.

The fan is quiet and moves more air than you would expect for its size. The night light is a great feature especially in a kids room. The one issue is that the fan has no trim at the top so the support screws are visible very obvious. It looks like it is missing something without a trim piece.

We had an electrician install the fan and he did not have much trouble.Fan works as it should and remote works well. Only issue was connecting to the app. That was a headache. It took me several tries but it finally connected. Not sure if this will help. (Keep bluetooth on during setup. Not sure if this affected anything but the app works now…)1. On app, create a room to put your fan in.2. Then, add your fan into the room.3. When pairing, make sure you are on the page of the room you just created. Do not try to pair the fan through the master control page. (The change to this part finally worked for me)4. Press “pair” on page and hold the remote’s “pair code” button. Instructions should be the same as on the owner’s manual.After connecting to the app, the fan speed would go random speeds. But once I used the remote to select a speed, it fixed the problem.

I bought this fan for my little kitchen. It is awesome! It kicks off SO much air and the lights are so bright. I love it! You can adjust the brightness on the light if you do not want it real bright. We get so many compliments on it. We ended up ordering a second one for the family room. We’ll worth the money!
