    Full disclosure I received the first one and it was broken and the exchange was very quick. The broken one was the thin arm that ran from the middle to the outside ring. The metal is very thin so I took caution when hanging it. I would think for the cost the engineering would have been very good in mounting but it is not. The mounting was a little more difficult than the other 2 brands I have installed in my home but it is pretty light and I am fairly equipped to do this quickly so it wasn’t a big deal. For an unexperienced person you may have frustrations. The functionality works as intended and it throws off a nice amount of light. The problem here is the price. This fixture is priced at $182 and I have acquired the same quality/function/style lights for 40$ less. I believe this light is priced too high to recommend buying unless you specifically want this look.

    So I didn’t see this until I opened the box, but this doesn’t mount to a standard ceiling fixture, it mounts to a mounting bracket that you put in the ceiling using those plastic anchors ( that come with it). And to make matters worse it’s offset, so you need some trigonometry to figure out how to center this over the ceiling fan fixture that you placed in the center of the ceiling. The instructions have no reference to this, they just show two wires coming out of the ceiling, like you are supposed to drill a small hole and run power through. So as a result I have not installed this, because I fully expected to just mount it like any fan, to the ceiling bracket.

     Don’t believe what people said in here, it took me 15-20 min to install this fixture. Looking forward to buy other 2 more thanks

    This was one of my hardest installation I’ve had to do with a fan. It is doable though. After instalation, it turned out marvelous. I love the modern look.I’m giving it a four star because you can not adjust the lighting. It stays the same brightness the whole time.That doesn’t make me like it any less. I enjoy seeing it everyday. I’m just amazed how a single fan light turns a room to a modern looking room.I recommend this light and I wish I could help people install these.

    This fan was easy to install and works great. It’s a nice modern twist to the standard old style of fans.

    This fan/light is a great addition to our den, replacing a 30 y/o very heavy brass ceiling fan with an attached pendant light kit. This beauty makes the room look much more open and inviting. The install was a little challenging due to the mounting bracket being a little offset, but it went up with no problems. Best thing is I no longer have to clean those huge fan blades and the globes off the light kit.
