    I had a ceiling fan that came with a bad remote. During the COVID era I could not find a replacement, so when I saw that finally a replacement remote was available, I pounced on it. The replacement remote looks and performs just like the original remote, and no issues pairing it to the fan. I recommend this if your ceiling fan remote has stopped working.

    Although the item doesn’t seem to be 100% OEM, it’s very hard to see the difference. I mean, it pairs just like the original thing and works exactly the same, so just get and pair and ready to go. I use it for a home Decorators collection fan with a DC motor, (iron crest I think it’s the model) and it’s the controller to use if you have this type of motor. Don’t buy the ones from Home Depot, since those won’t work with this type of ceiling fan motor.

    We bought this so both of us would have a remote for the ceiling fan to share in our bedroom but unfortunately you can only use one remote at a time it cancels the other one out.

    While I had to do some research to discover this was the right remote for my fan, it has work flawlessly since setup. Easy to pair with nearby fan, just turn-off power to fan, switch remote to airing mode, and turn power back on for fan. Fan and remote should pair immediately.
