I was skeptical about getting a fan with only 3 blades but this one circulates way more air than the 5 blade fan it replaced. On the highest setting, you can really feel the air moving. On the lowest setting, it’s a very gentle movement. There’s a good range of choices. Initially, I was skeptical about the style but once it was installed, I really love it. It’s sleek and contemporary; the white fan blends into the ceiling, so it’s not the focal point of the room like the old one was. This one has both a wall switch and a remote control and that is very convenient. Overall, it was an excellent choice at a very good price point. I cannot speak to longevity as it was just installed this week.
