    I really like this fan but I was disappointed to find out the bulb size is only 40 watts. The description said it was 60 watts so it isn’t very bright.

    Appears to have been made well, but spent over a day on the installation and trouble shooting why fan would not operate by the remote. Completed installation and fan would not operate. Removed fan from ceiling and power it up on a test bench and fan operated. Reinstalled fan and would not operate, very frustating. Removed fan and hung from hook and took remote close to ceiling to see if it would operate. It operated perfectly , then proceeded to operate from floor , fan would not operate. I had oringinal ordered two fans for two rooms. Then proceeded to exhange transmitter and remote from second fan with thought that the combination was bad from the first fan. After wiring in the new transmitter and using its remote, I had the same results, the fan only operated if the remote was within one to two feet of the transmitter. I also used different 9volt batteries with no change. I installed the fans and I hate to think what the cost would have been if I had hired a contractor to install these defective fans. I called customer service and was told they never heard of this problem

    It is quite attractive; the air flow and noise levels are good. However, installation manual is useless, or the wrong manual was sent. The figures and instructions do not correspond to the actual product that was received. I still have not fully completed the installation and if it could not be completed, we plan to return the product. Too bad the company could not pay someone to write a proper installation manual.

    looks great. The base had to have a large medallion put on it to fit, but otherwise all looks awesome.
