   The fan itself appears to be well made. It’s smooth and quiet, and moves plenty of air for my room (roughly 12′ x 15′). Once hung, it looks very pretty in the room and you wouldn’t immediately know it’s a fan. The packaging kept everything in good order, no paint scratches or marks.Of my gripes, the most significant is the fact that switching between the LED temperatures/colors requires you to turn the lights off and back on until you get the one you want. Once you find which of the three temperatures you prefer, you’re going to be frustrated because when you come back into the room you’ll need to cycle through the other three to get back. Since the remote only provides on/off to the LED driver, it would have been far better to have a switch on the LED driver box to select the temperature, and leave it be. This design is such an annoyance that I’m considering sourcing a different LED driver.Less significant, but still important, is that the installation isn’t made for the average DIY homeowner. If someone is experienced in installing ceiling fans, this kit goes together well enough, but it does require a few bits of extra knowledge and things like wiring nuts that generally come standard when you buy a brand like Hunter or Hampton Bay. One example: the leads for the LEDs from the remote control box have connectors, but the leads from the fan unit do not, so you have to cut the blue/white connectors off and manually wire nut these individually. A second example: the LED driver box, which installs under the fan with the LEDs themselves, has magnets to hold it to the assembly, but these are weak and getting everything installed nicely so that wires aren’t visible through the ABS is a challenge.Another thing to note is that the grounding on this assembly leaves something to be desired. The grounding wire attaches up at the top of the down rod, but there isn’t a good ground connection between the down rod and the fan housing. I don’t think it’ll be a serious problem in my case, but I’m equally unsure if this product could meet UL or equivalent standards without a better grounding path to the fan housing.Overall, I still like the product. If I could set the LED temperature once and have it remain that way, this would be a 5-star product, even with the installation expertise required.

   The fan, as a fan, is good. It blows air very well.Everything else is rather poorly designed, made of cheap materials, or has highly questionable integration.-harness mount. Does not retrofit very well. If your house was built prior to 2010 or so, odds are you will have a pain of a time with the mount and will likely end up at the hardware store. I modified my mount instead but, most people wouldnt do that. I however, was being cheap.-The remote does not allow any light controls other than on or off. If you want colors you have to use the app. If you want dimmable brightness. Use the app. If you want to adjust temperature of lights, use the app.-the app. Its terrible. Buggy, has connection issues, lags severely. I change colors and it takes sometimes 30 seconds to respond even when only 2 feet away. Disconnects a lot. I believe this app to be among the worst light/appliance apps i have come across.-the light housing. I crown this the worst design of the decade. The control unit for the leds is held on by some rather weak magnets. The control unit is several inches larger than the alloted space for you to place the unit. It makes absolutely no sense. You have to cover several of the lights with the unit in order to mount it properly. Completely terrible idea. The wires cast extremely harsh shadows on the lamp shade which make it look terrible. So make sure you bring your A game with cable managment. You will need it if you want this to look decent.-Speaker. For a completely novelty idea which i figured i would never use, its actually not to bad of a speaker. I thought it would sound like a $5 bargin speaker. Its closer to a $10 or $12 bargin speaker.FYI – YOU HAVE TO CONNECT TO THE SPEAKER BLUETOOTH INDEPENDENT OF THE PROVIDED APP IN ORDER TO USE THE SPEAKER NORMALLY! They try and force their spam app garbage music services and what not in the app.Overall, Meh. I got a fan, lights work though it was a complete pain. I would rather less features and more development on an app that works and a remote that actually handles all the features of the fan instead of 1 of the features. The negative experience had made the whole idea rather lackluster.

   Don’t worry about it – February 20, 2023

   Bought for replacement for old light fixture. I have installed many light and fan fixtures. The instructions are not very clear. So good thing I have done this a few times. The app works ok. Controls light fine but the Bluetooth speaker is junk. First off I can play a song for about ten seconds than nothing comes out. Second if you use the app for music it will not let you do anything. Not to mention it is all in different language. I did have high hopes for what little sound quality I git to try. But the speaker really is pointless on this unit. So summary is great fan, great light, useless speaker. So 2 out 3 means not completely unhappy with it

   I bought this for my daughters bedroom. As a ceiling fan it is amazing, with the retractable blades and its ability to move air it can’t be beat! I got this though for it’s other features though. That is the multicolored led’s and the bluetooth speaker. First off, jump into utube and find DIY videos because the manual is useless. It is a very cumbersome and difficult assembly to say the least. I’m pretty good with things like this and it took about two hours to get it onto the ceiling and operating. Once I did that I realized that the remote is limited with what it can do. You must download the app to be able to use all the features. Once we did that I was surprised that the speaker was actually pretty good. The lights worked better through the app also. A problem though was the app would lose connectivity sometimes and difficult to recover. The concept of this fixture was really cool. However the quality and execution is flawed. Too bad because if it was better I’d buy more for my home. As it is, only one and would not recommend it.
