    I love the look of this fan, and it was easy to install, mostly because I have installed many over the years, and this one is generally simple compared to most, but I was supposed to be buying a NEW fan, and this one did not come with any instructions, and the glass cover for the light is broken, which I did not discover until I had almost finished installing it. Clearly, it was reboxed and not “new.”I also cannot get the remote to synchronize with the fan, so I cannot make it run at all at this point. There is power to the fan and to the light, and the remote lights up too, but there is no way to operate the fan or light without the remote, and the two are not talking. In short: I went to all of the trouble of installing this fan, and it’s useless to me. I googled it and found the procedure that should work, but it didn’t.So I tried contacting Amazon. They were no help whatsoever. I tried at least three times. Most of the time, I get someone whose connection is so bad that I cannot understand more than half of what they say. The rest of the time, they give me useless tips like pulling the battery out of the remote and replacing them, which I has already tried a few times. My only option with them is returning the fan, which is already installed, and I am trying to avoid that.I’ve reached out to a couple of electricians, one of whom made it work (for more than the cost of the fan), and I contacted Minka Aire for the missing instructions and the broken glass, but they haven’t replied yet.This is basically a complete failure for Amazon and for Minka Aire. Do better!

    Have installed multiple Minka fans at our home in Florida, I am installing Minkas in the condo in California replacing the fans that seem to have been designed for Game of Thrones. I look for Minka specifically for their innovative modern designs at a reasonable price.

    Surprisingly good airflow, and quiet throughout the speed settings. Still unsure about styling but who stares at a fan that long…. and if so, why? I like it better than a similar size Hunter in another room that would be my choice if not for an aggravating whine at low (preferred) speed.

    Minka fans are the best. Love the compact look of this for my small office.Very quiet and easy to turn on and off. I do wish it came with a wall panel and not just a remote control for the price.
