   These fans are beautiful. Craftmade, an American company, builds superior fans which I highly recommend without reservation. This is a company that you can believe in and feel good about supporting by purchasing their products. I purchased and installed 22 Craftmade Mondo fans in a new home that my husband and I built in the Florida Keys. The fans’ spec sheet and box indicated that the fans were suitable for outdoor damp locations. I installed 9 of the fans on outside covered patios. All of the fans were gorgeous and functioned as intended, moving air efficiently and quietly. However, after just a few months in the ocean air, the finish of the aluminum fans bubbled and started to deteriorate. I discovered this issue when we removed the fans in preparation for Hurricane Irma.When I made a claim with the company under their warranty, the Vice President of the company personally contacted me and worked with me to resolve my claim. The company did not have to accept the claim as in the last paragraph of their Warranty language on the last page of the instruction guide, there was one sentence that exempted finish deterioration from salt air exposure from the warranty. My claim rationale was that this limitation was not prominently located in the Spec sheet or on the box so that purchasers would be aware of the limitation and could either have the fan powder coated or choose another for the ocean environment. The company understood my position and will hopefully revise their packaging and specification information.I purchased 9 more fans and had them powder coated for my patio installation. I love these fans and I love and respect this American company. I am proud to have selected these fans for my dream home. The company understood my position and we worked out a resolution that was fair. I recommend that you buy Craftmade products with pride and confidence. I plan to be a customer for life.

   Other reviews mention air flow. If you want a fan that will blow papers away and is like sitting under a tornado, than this is not the fan for you. It moves a lot of air around you really well. To me, it circulates the air really well with decent velocity. I have it set at #5 of 6 speeds for my comfort level. 1-4 really are not too noticeable. I have it on my covered boat dock over a sitting area. My concern was having something wind proof that would not break the fan blades during storms. So far it is very wind proof and barely moves during some intense windy storms. It also has a quiet motor so far.

   This is an excellent fan. There is no question, you won’t get a nicer fan of this size for this price. We needed a large one for our kitchen/living room and were starting to think we’d have to spend upwards of $1200 to get one that looked decent. But this one looks incredible on our 18′ ceiling and gives such a nice breeze. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because for some reason it was a bit difficult to program the remote. They tell you it’s as simple as turning the power on, holding a button for 5 seconds and you’re good to go, but we spent almost half an hour trying it before the fan finally responded properly. It’s working great now, so it wasn’t a huge deal, but was frustrating to fiddle with it for so long. I still don’t know why it randomly started working but I’m not asking questions!

   This fan was the perfect addition to my new home. I was a little worried about the purchase because it was a bit more expensive than I was looking to spend. But it is now the centerpiece of my new place. And even on low, it pushes air like nothing else. My only issue is that I couldn’t get the remote to work, but I’m sure it’s just something I didn’t do correctly.

   We bought this fan over an year but hardly used it for 10 times as it’s in another living room . Suddenly it stopped working , we called electricians to fix and none of them knows why it’s not working . Tried changing battery checking for power source everything is fine but fan is not working . We tried contacting company but no one is responding

   First thing,i ordered this fan on Sunday,fan arrived Tuesday.Be prepared to concentrate and take your time installing.Everything about this fan is what i was looking for.It is relaxing even to just watch this fan function on speed setting #1.At 3 or 4 good breeze.Speed setting #6 reproduces a California Santa Ana Wind. Finish & Industrial look is incredible.We have 2 other fans in the house,sooner they quit working the better,they will be replaced with Mondo.

   What a waste of time and money, I installed this fan on my porch and all that I have is something to look at. This fan on the fastest setting moves such a small amount of air that if couldn’t see it turning you wouldn’t know it’s there. So very disappointed
