Overall the ceiling fan is quite nice. I purchased two of these fans and installed them in a large 20’x25′ spaced approximately ten feet apart. One fan would not have done the job to circulate the air in this room. I also purchased Kichler’s 48″ downrods to use for these two fans since I have 14′ high ceilings. These fans were a bit different to hang compared to the many other brands I’ve installed over the years. There’s a type of wire you’re supposed to attach to the junction box in case there’s an earthquake. This is in case the screws that hold up the fan somehow fail and the metal wire will prevent the fan from crashing down below. It was a bit awkward but I worked my way through it.The downsides for me were hanging these fans on a slightly pitched surface. I can’t seem to get the metal canopy ring that sits against the ceiling to be perfectly flush against it. They sort of dangle and only touch the ceiling where the pitch angles downward. Secondly, I installed these using Kichler’s 4ft long downrod which I’m guessing makes it not possible for me to use these fans on the highest setting. If I do they wobble and one of the two makes an annoying clicking sound. Lastly, the wall remote that controls both fans only appears to come in white. For my home design I used black light switches. So now I have a white wall control for these fans that sticks out like a sore thumb. For the price of these fans they should offer some other color options. I’m tempted to hand paint mine in black but I’m sure if I take that route it will smudge off over time and it’ll be a never ending endeavor to keep it looking nice.Customer service was stellar when I needed them. One of the fans was not connecting to the remote controlled wall switch and a very helpful woman emailed me a PDF file for instructions which I have saved in my inbox. And if that wasn’t enough she called me later that same day to check in with me to see if I got them to work. No one ever does that and I was left very impressed. These fans are modern and elegant looking and are great for a higher end designed living room. The blades are not real wood but their walnut coloring matches perfectly to some real wood pieces in the same room that have the same walnut rich medium brown wood stain finish.

Just installed it, looks good, no wobble at least at lower speeds, and moves a lot of air. Also happy with the wall-mount controls. Calling the finish brushed nickel, is quite simply false advertising- they must have just rebranded their inventory of chrome-finished fans. I don’t like being lied to, so the 4-star rating.

I can’t speak to the fans operation because it never made it out of the box. As soon as I opened the package I realized what they were calling polished nickel was just code for cheap chrome. Additionally, the light included with the fan could be mistaken for a tap-light since it is slightly dome shaped white plastic. Neither of these reasons for my return were in anyway obvious in the photo used in the advertisement.
