    You can’t help going but look at your bedroom ceiling allot. The things in your view should bring you joy? With pleasing design aesthetics and other great operational features. I feel good about my decision before I close my eyes and again when I wake in the morning. Additionally crucial for bedroom, the operation, is silent operation. The light is a nice color. And the remote is easy to master. The fan has a wide degree of mounting options and easily worked with our angled ceiling. If it were not for a couple of the issues I had with the installation I would rate this fan a five!The issues I had are these – Downrod and Installation.Downrod – although often shown with a long downrod, in reality the fan only comes with a 3″ downrod. With our angled ceiling we needed a longer downrod. Which is an separate accessory you need to purchase. Downrods are not listed or show as an option. Figuring out which model to purchase and the color was difficult. It took allot of research and going to Casablanca’s web site to find the right model number. The color of the downrod was a guess – as the fan colors listed do not match the color for the downrod – which one will work with the color?. As a suggestion, it would be great if the available downrods with matching color were included in spec info.Installation – Even if you are somewhat technically minded you will find assembling the light for this unit challenging mainly do to vague instructions. There was some trial and error to figure the light assembly out. The instructions are good, but could include more detail on how to assemble the light.The remote control on my unit was DOA and not working when I installed it. But Casablanca (Hunter) customer service was great and got a replacement unit right out to me.

    Installed it on a 2 ‘ downrod because of the pitch of the gazebo roof. It was packed well. I had a licensed electrician help me and it took us a bit longer than expected. There are a lot of pieces and different sizes of screws and mounting options as well as the option to not use the included LED light. Instructions were good. Fan didn’t need any balancing and the handheld remote comes with a special switchplate to store it that screws into a regular electrical box that would hold a wall switch. Moves a lot of air for a small fan. Seems like a waste to have to throw away all the stuff for the options not used which adds to the cost of the fan. I would recommend the fan.

    This is a sleek, compact, very effective fan/light combination. Moves a lot of air at the high setting. The installation instructions and mounting hardware are good but it takes a while to get it all set up. You might struggle if you aren’t a bit handy. It is intended to be wired off the load side of a GFI outlet and to be “on” all the time and then you turn the fan and light on/off with the remote. The light is dimmable and there are 4 speed settings on the fan. Important to note that the light source is a built in LED array, you can’t change it. The LED color leans toward the cool blue-white shade rather than the warn yellow-white shade. I would have preferred the later but can get used to it.This is a quality fan and way better than a Home Depot special.

    I just had this fan installed yesterday and couldn’t be happier. It is rated for both inside/outside use and is reversible. My application was for a small bedroom and the size is ideal. I doubt I’ll ever run it higher than the first fan speed, as this ceiling fan really puts out the air. I had the electrician mount it flush to the ceiling, which works well in this room that has a poster bed with an eight foot ceiling. It is both quiet and vibration-free. An excellent fan.
