There is something inherently wrong with how this was made as it rubs inside the motor. Paid to have it installed and then uninstalled because of it rubbing.It was a great looking fan though. Replaced with another Minka Aire. Different flush mount model. Same motor rubbing issues. Lost money on installing to electrician.My other 2 minka aire had no issues so far. But we’ve moved away from this brand till they fix motor issues with flush mount fans (the other two were not flush mount).

The switch to fan wire circuit requires 4 wire most older homes are 3 wire, this fan needs two control circuits, I am also not happy that I have to pay $11.50 to return it should have bought it from Home depot. Liked the fan look and style construction clearance the control switch looks cheap however!

Paid to have it installed only to find out it doesn’t turn. Only the light worked. Had to pay to have installed then to have uninstalled and again to install another fan. It costed me 150 extra like more than the fan I had replaced it with.!!!
