Beautiful fan and it works. The last fan I had was not effective at all. Probably due to the age of it. Thank you!

It looks very very cheap and it is.. In the range in which it is sold you can find much finer products and better quality for your money. When you turn it on it emits a random metallic screeching sound. Small fan.Luce muy muy barato y lo es.. En el rango en el que se vende puedes encontrar productos muchisimo mas finos y mejor calidad por tu dinero .Cuando lo enciendes emite un sonido chirriante metalico aleatorio .Ventilador pequeno.

I am not an electrician and so installing something like this is not in my wheelhouse. I needed to have a friend who was more handy with this kind of stuff to have put in. So I cant comment on the ease of it, but it took him about two hours or so, due to the way it was put together out of the box, to have it all done and working. It looks really nice on my ceiling and the LED lights are nice and bright. The strings pull down to start the fans rotating. The light switch can serve as both just the light switch, or have the fan on with it at the same time. Its a simple design, nothing incredibly ornate, but functional and looks good on the ceiling.

This fan was really complicated to install. It took my dad and I three hours to get it done. The part that attaches to the ceiling comes already assembled, so that you have to actually disassemble it first. I really wish they didn’t do it like that. The order of installation is crucial, so I’ve included a picture for visual learners. Thankfully connecting the lights at the end is easy so once you have the fan up, it’s smooth sailing from there. You have the option of installing it either flush to the ceiling or with a bit of a drop down with it hanging from a short bar. I chose the hanging option.Screwing the decorative ring flush against the ceiling is very difficult, my dad tried with all his might and only got it partially on. I was not able to get it to stay up with multiple tries. However I am really pleased with the end result. I hear a slight hum when it is on its highest speed. At medium speed, it is barely detectable if you know what you’re looking for. At low speed I cannot hear it at all.The lightbulbs it comes with are very bright! You have the option of installing it either flush to the ceiling or with a bit of a drop down with it hanging from a short bar. I chose the hanging option. My main concern was this fan would either be noisy or look cheap. It is neither. Down one star for the unusually difficult installation. But it looks and works great now that all is said and done!

Admittedly, once you know how to take on this brand’s less-than-ideal approach to instruction, construction, and installation, things move much faster than if you’re just starting out. Based on previous install experiences with Kichler, I thought the additions of light fixtures present on this fan were going to make the process even more tedious than normal. Luckily, that wasn’t the case.Additionally, this product looks even better in person than it does in the photos, high quality light bulbs are included, and the fan blades are reversible (you can choose between light wood or dark wood hues on each blade). My recommendations to hasten the install:Begin by screwing the fan blade mounts to each fan blade (not to the motor though). Now disassemble the canopy (turn the canopy ring counter-clockwise, let it fall away, pull the bottom portion off the canopy and discard it, unscrew the 4 screws holding the mounting bracket in place). Now unscrew every other screw (3 in total) from the top of the motor, then feed the rubber gasket, canopy ring, and canopy (in that order) through the wiring, before screwing it all into place (with the 3 screws you took out). Cut and strip the ends of the excess wiring, and (unless you want a massive headache) just cut the safety hook wire completely off. Then attach the mounting bracket to the ceiling (screws not included).Beyond this, you’re just connecting wires, screwing the motor to the canopy, twisting the canopy ring back on, screwing in the fan blades, wiring and screwing in the bottom of the motor, and screwing on the light fixtures and bulbs. Know ahead of time that some of these screw holes are a tighter fit than you’re hoping for (one of mine didn’t even fit this time around). The entire process should take you about an hour less if you do a lot of the prep up front (as opposed to doing it in the air, like much of the instructions intend; where they even clearly explain what to do).I’m happy to report that, unlike my Kichler energy saver fan, this one had no unexpected quirks in functionality. Once again, I despised the install, and would expect a more streamlined experience for the price of the fan. But there’s no denying that this thing looks amazing once it’s up. I’d recommend it only to those who want the look of this fan, don’t mind the price point, and know to expect an hours-long installation.

This fan is exactly what I needed. My old fan had a lightbulb that was difficult to change and the motor was weak. This fan does a good job of cooling my room and the lightbulb is convenient to access. I don’t know how hard or easy it was to install, not in my skillset and I hired an electrician.

We had a couple of ceiling fans installed at the same time, this turned out to be the tougher of the two and took twice as long. The directions were almost worthless which lead to a lot of the extra work because of trial and error. Once installed it was worth the effort, it looks and works great. Very bright lights, we don’t use them often.

The directions – terrible! They were vague and hard to understand. Other than that the fan is good. It is extremely durable because it fell off a ladder and still held up. It does make some noise but it could be from the fall. The led lights are SO bright we are contemplating taking out a few bulbs.
