Perfect fan for my large living room. It hangs 8ft 6″ high and I can feel its cooling effects from all couches.Word of caution, I originally wired it to a dimmer switch (which used to work great with my 80’s fan). As soon as I turned it on, I could hear a loud buzzing coming from the motor. I did a little research learned that fan motors should not be switched by a regular dimmer switch. Matter of fact, the manual clearly states that a solid state (made for LED lights) dimmer should not be used with this fan. Hence I replaced the switch with a 3 does can switch and now it works perfectly. No more buzzing sound.Also, the angle of my ceiling is at its limit (18 degrees). If my ceiling had a bigger inclination, I would need to purchase a separate adapter for this fan. I just happened to luck out.Also, since I used an existing thinner downrod that was with the original fan, I struggled a bit to balance the fan, but once I tightened the downroad to the fan, it took about 15 minutes to balance.Overall the entire process took about 2 hours to install, not counting setup (scaffolding) and tear down.The only CON I have is that in order to reverse the fan direction you have to remove the bulb cover. Since I use a wood stove to heat the livingroom, I’ll be doing this in the Fall and in the Spring. But this is not a big enough of a CON to drop a star. Hence I still recommend it and give it 5 stars.

This ceiling fan is so beautiful & was so easy to install! It goes with so many different decors too! I personally thought it was nice for my farmhouse vibe in my home & everyone that comes to my house really likes it as well!

It’s a bit too tall for a dropped ceiling, but on a full height ceiling it is gorgeous and has a very nice industrial aesthetic.The only issue I had with installation was that when you are wiring it, there’s only a couple of inches of gap to work in due to the base that will cover the mount. The unmasterful electrician who wired our house trimmed the wiring short, so the combination of the short wiring and the limited gap made the connections challenging. It would be nice to have some sort of molex style connector to wire in before mounting so that you just lift it up and connect. Had I the parts, I would have done that and saved myself from my wiring challenges.I didn’t use the included lightbulb as I needed to have a smart bulb in this location. I find that a normal white globe bulb, however, causes a lot of glare when the dome is in my field of view. I’ll be replacing it with an edison style smartbulb in the future.Everything about this is high quality. I love mine.Recommended

I love the look of this fan, which is what initially drew me to it. I am going for that rustic feel in my new home and this fit perfectly. Installation wasn’t bad and the quality is great. Highly recommend it.

This works for any modern, rustic, industrial style, I lean towards a industrial/rustic combination and love the fan. Installation was similar to my other LED fan and I actually prefer this light oppose to the round LED you see. It does have some weight almost 3x my previous LED fan I installed.
