    1) Motor assembly was poorly fabricated. When I assembled the fan and test ran it, the fan blades scraped on the lower housing. I disassembled and added some shims between the lower housing mounting plate and the lower housing to compensate for a bent mounting plate shaft.2) The instructions for, and the complicated design of, the light assembly were a problem. I am very experienced in mechanical assembly and figured it out; would have been beyond most homeowner’s capability.Summary: Because of these issues, it took me about 3 hours to assemble and hang this fan. I would expect it to take an hour. Disappointing for a fan in this price range.I would buy again because it seems to be a robust product; but would not recommend it to others because of the assembly issues.

    Looks great, very quiet, and remote is nice. Only issue was it did not work once first put in. Rechecked wiring, but this is the first fan I dealt with that does not have mechanical switches to help troubleshoot. Replaced the battery in the remote and then it worked as designed. I little pricey but we are very happy with it…

    It is modern but fits into the eclectic style of my home. It’s efficient, but it doesn’t go in reverse for summer. I don’t get as much light as I did from my old fan and light, but I bought a floor lamp for projects like grading, painting or puzzling where I need a lot of light.

    Love this little fan. It’s a workhorse. Color diff between blades and motor housing is slight, not noticeable to my eye once installed. One BIG design flaw… no way to reverse fan except drag out the ladder, climb up and switch the button on top of the motor housing.
