    This fan has a great artisan look, quality craftsmanship, and was an easy installation for someone with some DIY experience. Love the dimmer on the light. Knocked it down a star for average installation instructions and the ‘reclaimed wood’ claim. I’m guessing it’s reclaimed from something, but it looks like every other fan blade I’ve seen. No extra vintage character. It doesn’t detract, but wasn’t what I expected. Overall, it’s a statement piece and doesn’t disappoint.

    As you can see from the photos the alignment and fitment of the pieces is not very good. Additionally, the remote didn’t work. (Yes, I tried more than one channel, yes the receiver and remote matched. The red light flashes, so the battery is probably good.) Also, I can’t find a phone number for Savoy, only a mailing address, so aside from removing it from the ceiling and sending it back to Amazon, I’m not sure how to get a new remote and receiver. The Amazon installer was not able to trouble shoot the problem, but after they left, I connected it directly to the power, without the receiver, so at least I know the fan motor works.

    I was so excited when I found this fan on here for $200 less than I’d seen it on another lighting website. This is a great modern looking fan and it was pretty simple to put up. My only complaint is that the blades are super small and they don’t look like wood like I expected.

    Absolutely beautiful and unique lighting fixture – EVERYONE comments when they see it. It “bigger” than I thought it was going to be – very heavy and sturdy. The light cover could be a lil nicer but doesn’t take away and having on dimmer rocks!

    We love this fan SO much, that this is the second one we’ve bought. It is in our beach condo and we get lots of compliments. It is for a room with a bunk bed and we felt the “cage” sort of kept little fingers away. But the quality is very evident and it is worth the extra money!
