Purchased this fan as part of our master bedroom remodel when it was on a terrific sale (about 50% off the $399.00 it is now listed for). It was relatively easy to install (took about 45 minutes). It looks terrific in our room; I really like the grey color which fits in with our dark blue wall paint and decor well. The fan is quiet and I really like the ability to control it with Homekit. I will note, Siri doesn’t seem to be able to differentiate between turning on the fan and turning on the fan light. Siri can be picky, though, so perhaps I just haven’t found the correct command. As is, it turns the fan on but not the light, which works fine for us since we usually are turning it on when we go to bed at night and don’t need the light. When we do want the light we use a more generic command of “Turn on all the lights in the bedroom” which turns that and the two lamps on. I’d definitely recommend and we’re looking to buy another for our living room when they go on sale again next.

Before you even think about ordering this go to your phone’s app store and look up the reviews on the, “SimpleConnect” app.The app is rated 1.2 stars on the Google Play store for a reason.I have worked IT for over 10 years and couldn’t get this fan connected to my WIFI.Edit: Was able to get it working by turning off my wifi and making my phone a mobile Hotspot with the same network name/password as my wifi. After the fan connected I turned off my phone Hotspot and turned on my usual wifi and it connected fine.The app I still awful and unresponsive.
