I’m not a fan connoisseur, and I ordered the Rhinebeck for the direct drive motor and relatively understated appearance that wouldn’t scream look-at-me and dominate the roomscape. But everyone who’s seen it says, “Cool fan.” It’s quiet, moves air, and wasn’t too hard to install. Be aware that there are two models, one with and one without the LED light fixture. The LED light is hard-wired, no screw-in bulbs. And the controls differ between the models. The version with the light is hand-held remote only. If you don’t want yet one more remote to misplace or get gnawed by the dog, order the other model.
