South Florida –
We purchased this fan for our patio to help dissipate the heat in the Florida summers. One of the main attributes for purchasing this fan was due to the 5885 CFM for air movement.Unfortunately, compared to a Fanimation 44″ ceiling fan rated at 3950 CFM, the Fanimation moves more air that is very noticeable.The Modern Forms fan has nice features, but the performance for air movement is disappointing.

I want to advise everyone against buying this fan. It generally looks cheap and it’s clear that it’s very cheaply made. Ours came with several manufacturing defects that were only apparent after we’d spent the entire day putting it together. The lines don’t line up correctly, and there are several small visible punctures that shouldn’t be there. Most importantly though it pushes almost no air. Please save your money and time! We will be sending ours back.
