This fan was ordered as an exchange for a previous fan which did not perform – absolutely no air movement! So, what made this fan a “keeper”? Liked:1 – it was a breeze to install. It comes almost completely assembled or is built with all the things you have to mess with (i.e. putting on the brackets, putting a remote component in the bracket assembly before putting up the ceiling canopy, putting the light fixture together and attaching etc). This fan comes with all that built into the fan from the factory. I attached the down rod (12″) that I purchased separate and put the fan blades on the fan (the bracket and blades are already assembled out of the box). The integrated light fixture is already on the fan. It is built as one unit. IT IS THE EASIEST FAN I HAVE EVER INSTALLED!2 – the hand held remote is nice. Battery is included. Comes with a holder to mount to wall. You can mount it on a wall outside on the patio. Previous ordered fan instructions said fan remote could not be left in the heat.Really??!! Follow the instructions to let the fan pair with the remote – about 5 minutes. Once it’s finished pairing, the fan turns on at the highest speed. Boy, it puts out a nice breeze. It’s 100+ degrees and very high humidity down here in South Texas, so a good fan breeze is most appreciated. The fan is quiet even on the highest speed. No wobble at any speed! That’s the beauty of the DC motor with a 188mm rating (powerful/quiet/smooth operation which means no stability or noise issues). It can really power the 4 60″ blades which sit at a 14 degree pitch which, also, moves the air. It has a 1639 CFM on low speed and 6498 CFM on high speed. CFM is how many cubic feet per minute the fan puts out.3 – Light is an 18W LED integrated 3000K warm light & housed in a brass grid fixture (see photo). It’s not a garish LED light. It’s pretty cool looking. It was morning when I installed it, so can’t say just how bright the light output is. It has a 6 level dimmable capacity function on the remote. Will update once it can be checked out after dark.4 – it is good looking fan. Well made, all metal housing in a oil rubbed bronze and antique brass finish with tobacco toned fan blades. Don’t think the fan blades are wood but they are not cheap plastic looking. The whole fan is very well done. It has a “steam punk” vibe and a sleek, clean look. Our patio is an eclectic vintage, farmhouse look and it blends in really well. Wife likes it a lot! Seal of approval.5 – the features/benefits:*damp rated (can use in covered outdoor or indoor) DC motor (powerful/quiet/very little wobble) 188mm motor rating provides excellent air movement*4 oar shaped 60″ blades (doesn’t give the choppy helicopter noise at high speed as with 3 blade propeller shaped blades with an AC motor, 153mm or 172mm motor rating)*CFM rating 6498 @ high speed*Integrated 18W LED 3000K warm built in light fixture – 6 level dimming capacity6 – The Minka Aire fan was a little pricier than others but it was one of the few fans under $600 that had all the features we needed in an outdoor ceiling fan that would actually give us the air movement we needed on our patio. We needed a durable, well built fan that will last because it will get used 9-10 months out of the year on a daily basis.Bottom line: This fan will lets us use our patio when we want especially when it is blazing hot and humid outside especially in the “stay home if you can” situation we are all in. The 5 star rating is well deserved.

This Minka-Aire fan is a really great looking, high quality fan with very little to complain about.Having installed numerous ceiling fans from various manufacturers, I was pleased at the high build quality of the F726, it’s beautifully constructed with quality materials. By far the best quality fan I’ve bought. The price is high and the quality reflects that.Installation was simple, plenty of room to get the wiring done and the components installed in place. Again, compared to other fans I have installed, this was the easiest to install I have experienced.I would have to say that compared to other fans this seemed small for the given size. Described as a 60″ fan, in comparison with another 60″ fan I have installed, this fan is visually smaller. The fan and light section are way smaller (Which I like) but the blades are also noticeably narrower and shorter than I expected.Another point of consideration is that this particular minka-aire fan is incompatible with any of their wall controls which is disappointing. I had to call the minka-aire support number to get that information. I couldn’t find compatibility information in the Amazon description, on the minka-aire website or by searching online. I had hoped to pair this fan with the WCS212 or WCS213 wall control but it’s a no-go. I asked the customer rep if there were plans to make a wall control for this fan in the future and although it has been requested, there are no firm plans for a wall control at the moment. In the absence of the wall control, the remote control does work very well and is wall mountable. 6 speed settings and reverse are nice, the light level is adjustable using the remote too but I’m not quite sure which light button does what and I’ll have to look at the manual to know for sure.I’d certainly recommend this fan, the high price does seem justified by the high build quality and the materials used. If it was slightly larger in person, and had a compatible wall control I’d happily give 5 stars.

This is actually a small fan. It is very modern and handsome, also extremely quiet. I like this fan a lot and I have about 7 indoor and outdoor Minka ceiling fans. One issue with the fan I received here was it is very hard to balance for the highest speed. I spent about 2 hours filming the wobble and comparing videos to be sure I was setting the weights correctly. I still have a slight wobble and I really hate that. I reached out to the company to see if I should try new blades or what they would suggest so I will try to update when this issue is addressed.Other than that issue, I think this fan is outstanding.

I’m not totally sure how to feel about this ceiling fan. I’ve eyed this fan for quite a while before committing to a purchase, and now that its hung I’m not sure that its worth the money.Pros: looks good, easy to install, and quiet. Cons: Expensive, doesn’t move a lot of air for its size (even on it’s highest fan setting), poor lighting system, and it sometimes oddly tries to figure out which way to turn when switching the fan on and changing fan directions. My biggest complaint would be the lighting. In a decent size master bedroom the light quality/output is equivalent to hanging a LED flashlight from your ceiling. When the lights are at full power there are still a lot of shadows/dark areas in my room including the ceiling, i.e the lighting system does not fill the room with light like a regular light bulb would. If you need a fan that shines light downward (High Ceiling), this fan “might” be for you…

The light on this thing is completely worthless. Do NOT plan on this being the only light in your room like we did.It does blow air ok.

I had to return this because it wasn’t the right finish for us but this was beautiful. Almost like a steampunk vibe.
